  • Jared Wise is a senior adviser for the Department of Justice. But way back in 2021, on January 6th, he was “advising” protesters to kill the police. “Only the best people.”
  • Washington State is trying to hook you up with your money. Search the database here.
  • RFK Jr. is fucking deranged. Unfortunately, his mental illness is going to needlessly kill many people. In 2021 alone, COVID vaccines saved about 15 million lives using one estimation method or saved about 20 million lives using another method. Kennedy’s toxic blend of arrogance, narcissism, susceptibility to conspiracy theories, lack of any medical training, and inability to recognize his own ignorance (an extreme case of the Dunning-Kruger effect) will kill many thousands, if not millions, of people.

DLBottleToday is primary Election Day in Washington, so if you haven’t sent in your ballot yet, do so now. You can drop it off before 8pm in a drop box near you or swing by a post office and drop it in the mail.

Oh hey. The newly opened Pier 58 looks pretty great. It looks like kids were really enjoying the new playground and people of all ages have more park space by the water. And whatever my objections were to the tunnel, this isn’t all in the shadow of a giant freeway.

As I was walking down the waterfront to work this morning, there were already kids playing on the playground. I think it’s a hit beyond just the opening celebrations.

– It’s hot again and I am working from my un-air conditioned apartment.

– Division Street in Spokane could be a lot better.

Coming home from Drinking Liberally, the bus (49 South) was as crowded as I’ve ever seen it at 10:00. Are people taking the bus while I-5 lanes are closed? If so, welcome and I hope you stay after it opens up.

– Anyway, your legislators and member of Congress go uncontacted. Tragic, but you can fix it.
