– Really don’t love the possibility that the EMT coming to the homes of sick people were lying about their health. During a pandemic, or ever.

I spent 20 minutes looking for my keys instead of writing this. But I did want to remind everyone that the No Kings rally and march is tomorrow. Cal Anderson and Red Square. Or tons of other locations.
And while we’re talking about protest, I haven’t had a chance to read Range Media’s recent coverage of the anti-ICE protests in Spokane yet, but it looks compelling.

– You planning on going to the No Kings rally and march? June 14 starting at Cal Anderson Park and marching to Seattle Center. Also a rally at the UW, and many others across the state and county.
– With ICE raids announced, I’m glad the Ferguson administration is preparing for dealing with the Feds.
– King County has no confidence in John Arthur Wilson.
– I don’t trust any police chief, but if Shon Barnes does get arrested to protect my rights, that would be something.
– Good riddance to Larry Haskell. Hopefully Spokane can do better.

2 of the 9 City Council members will be appointed rather than elected come July when Cathy Moore steps down. I have not been impressed with her, but I do think elections are the way to replace people, not stepping down mid term.
Dow Constantine, too. Although it being later in his term that he already wasn’t running for reelection isn’t quite the same. And Sound Transit wasn’t going to wait for a new CEO. It is an important job and important to fill with the right person, but so is King County Executive.
