    The woman gets 20 years for a warning shot, Zimmerman goes free for killing the boy armed with skittles. Dunn gets 60 years for the shots that missed the kids in the car, but goes free for the shot that killed the boy.

    I have learned, in the south, you only go to jail if you fail to kill your (black) target.

    Not going to Disney world any time soon.

    Don’t you know skittles are dangerous? If properly thrown one could go down your throat and lodge there, causing you to choke to death while trying to cough it back up. Your only chance of survival is to shoot the perp before he can open that bag of skittles.

    The failed union vote at the Volkswagen Chattanooga plant continues to reverberate, but not the way anti-labor media has been spinning it. Back at VW hq, labor has influence on the board and through the works council. They might move to block further investment of vw plants in the southern US.

    In Germany, the political parties are mostly center-left or center-right.With the wipe out of the pro-businesses but socially liberal Free Democrats last year at the Federal Election. One of the conditions that the Social Democrats for joining Merkel ‘s Government, was adopting something Germany had not needed before, a minimum wage. Merkel was 4 seats short of being only the second Chancellor in the history of the Federal Republic of Germany to have an outright majority.

    DETROIT (WWJ) – It’s been seven years in the making, but the shovels are expected to go in the dirt this spring for the M-1 light rail project in Detroit.
    M-1 Board Chairman Roger Penske and CEO Matt Cullen gave members of the Detroit City Council an update at the session Tuesday.
    “Some seven years ago, we came and talked with city council about this project, we have gone through a lot of ups and downs but today we think that we are on the right track,” said Penske.
    This is a 3.3 mile project with approximately $140 million dollars of expenditures said Penske.
    “We had the experience of going to Portland and Denver to see what has happened and I think that this will be a case of a great economic motivator, it will tie in together the businesses on the north end and the south end,” said Penske. “To me the 700 jobs generated through the construction project is important to the city of Detroit. The people who live here and also the companies, the small businesses, we will use during the construction process.”
