I can’t say what her bar association would do if an ethics complaint was filed, because I’m not her bar association. But Pirro certainly knew the lining was peeling before Mr. Hearn came along, and she had a lying boss to appease. And when taken in context with her other failed politically motivated prosecutions, I think an ethics investigation is warranted. Of course,

“Hindsight-wise, it didn’t make him stubborn or selfish. It made him BRAVE.”

Kyrie gave up $11,400,000 in game checks during the 21-22 NBA season and a $100,000,000 extension with the Nets to be unvaccinated.

Just think how many Democrat incumbents will be successfully primaried by this money, only to see the DSA winner go on to loser to a Republican in the general.

Wild story nobody is talking about.

Apparently a childless, leftist NYU professor had a $5.2m retirement account when he died, and his will instructed the money to go to the New American Movement ‘or it’s successor organization’.

The DSA claimed in court that it was the legal successor to the New American Movement, and therefore entitled to the money. A judge agreed and the DSA was awarded a windfall of $5.2 million dollars.

And there’s this, from a commenter:

Bro builds $5M retirement fund on the back of capitalism. Gives it to group that wants to destroy capitalism.

Imagine the GOP passing a DJT47 tax cut bill by one vote in the House because DSA bankrolled a DSA nominee who in the primary took out the Democrat incumbent who would have voted against it, only to see that DSA nominee lose to a MAGA candidate in the general.

Whooboy the motion to dismiss the reflecting pool case is something.

First, the decision by Jeanine Pinot to dismiss without prejudice as if these charges could be refiled.

Then there’s a reference to facts she claims her office did not have when filing the charges of ‘tearing and pulling and ripping of the lining by the defendant until (Ed’s note heroic manly men) National Guard troops made the arrest.

There is zero evidence from eyewitnesses this happened.

And there’s the report by a Corp of Engineers official filed two days after the pool was reopened, as the algae bloom exploded and BEFORE industrial strength chlorine was seen being poured into the pool which as a heavier than water chemical sunk and coalesced on the bottom of the pool. The report notes the development of peeling of the newly installed lining particularly along the top edges. Pinot claims to have not seen this report and having no idea if damage was occurring naturally before running to a grand jury with a farcical tale of an Olympian ‘ripping and tearing the lining away.’

But the final bit is the new report by ACoE noting the lax bidding process, the low cost materials used by the contractor and a great deal of attention paid to the “rushed timeline of the job” in order to complete before the kickoff of Donnie’s ‘Merica Celebration including pressure to finish before the kickoff event, UFC on the White House Lawn.

Al this ‘NEW’ evidence results in Pinot seeking to drop the charges. Attorney’s for the defense have already made motion to compel Pinot to produce the Grand Jury transcript and a motion to dismiss with prejudice.

HA’s failed former attorney and perpetual useless, bloviating fool apparently didn’t look at the upcoming rate increases from his “juice” source:

Seattle City Light customers are about to see their monthly electricity bills go up.

The Seattle City Council on Tuesday unanimously approved back-to-back rate increases of 9.5% in 2027 and 2028. Seattle City Light proposed the increases “to meet rising electricity demand, respond to climate impacts, and replace aging infrastructure.”

The average Seattle City Light customer can expect to pay about $10 more per month each year, meaning a total increase of $20 per month when both rate hikes take effect.

… the Republicans will, at a minimum, lose control of the House of Representatives in November.

GOP has a good chance at keeping the House the way things have gone lately. Here’s Cook:

    Dave Wasserman
    @Redistrict

NEW @CookPolitical: 2026 mid-decade redistricting has yielded a House map that’s more Republican and less elastic. We’re out w/ our new PVI scores, and Dems now need to win 57 of 77 seats in the R+5 to D+5 range (74%) to win a House majority. cookpolitical.com/cook-pvi/intro…
    12:30 PM · Jul 29, 2026

    More:

The report defines the competitive zone as the 77 districts between R+5 and D+5. To win the majority, Democrats need to take 57 of them, a 74 percent win rate across every swing seat on the map, before a single vote is cast.

To put that in perspective, Cook modeled Democrats winning every district with a PVI rating more Democratic than R+3 and no others. Under the 2024 lines, that performance would have delivered 235 seats, a 20-seat gain matching the party’s 2018 blue wave. Under the new maps, it would produce only 223 seats, leaving Democrats 12 seats poorer and just five seats above the 218 needed for control.

PDF, you are not considering the effects of mid-decade redistricting.

The presumed DNC candidate for Wisconsin governor:

Francesca Hong: At 18, I had a mental breakdown. I didn’t actually walk at my high school graduation because I had been hospitalized for a week at a child psychiatric hospital. I just felt like nothing had meaning anymore. It was a numbness that took over, and a pain that I couldn’t describe. I couldn’t feel anymore, and that scared the hell out of me. And I found myself self-harming to feel something.

    Marsh: Were you cutting yourself?

Hong: It was cutting. I was diagnosed with bipolar disease. I was taking SSRIs and I’d overdosed on lithium. I didn’t know why I couldn’t connect with people deeper, and that pushes you into isolation. But in restaurants, I didn’t feel that. You see the best and worst of people here. It’s like, everyone wants to feel like they belong. I think a lot of the root causes were in being an immigrant’s daughter, and wondering if my sacrifices would ever really justify my parents leaving their homeland to create a new life for me. And I think the people who come into restaurants come from so many different backgrounds and life experiences, and the best restaurant teams take care of one another so that you don’t have to think about if you belong here or not.

    “I hurt myself today
To see if I still feel

One drawback from last night’s LINK derailment, was designing the 2 Line to work solely within the I-90 Reversible Lsnes. The train was reversing through a switch at IDS to head south to Stadium Station to handle a large crowd from the Ed Sheeran concert. Right now the Wye Junction to OMF-East looks overbuilt, double-tracked, but it will eventually be where the 4 Lime to Kirkland branches off. Such a junction at IDS/SODO was not worth the cost. Still crossovers at Pioneer Square, Symphony, and Westlake would have been worth it.

Beginning to see benefits of batteries on Light Rail Vehicles. While I wouldn’t have them on the high speed section of LINK, could see them useful during localized outages caused by such derailment.

Say, New Jersey, why is it that you and a whole buncha other blue states don’t want the feds to see your voter rolls?

The actual number released by Homeland Security of NONCITIZENS registered to vote in New Jersey is 35,152 compared to the previously reported 6,600.

New Jersey has an open secret that political operatives have known and taken advantage of for years, which allows NONCITIZENS to get registered to voter through a law called the “Motor Voter Law.”

The DMV is playing a significant role registering noncitizens to vote, especially through the ERIC system associated with DMVs, which Soros himself has significant ties to as well as the Democrat Party.

The NJ gov is aware of the number. She’s aware that it’s a problem. This is why she claimed a smaller number a couple of weeks ago. Limited modified hangout so that when the real truth emerges it can be brushed off as “old news”.

    3:13 PM · Aug 3, 2026

If you’ve ever tried to shoot basketballs to win a prize at a carnival you know the rim diameter is not much bigger than the diameter of the ball, and that’s why the carnival wins. Conversely, when you play at Dave & Buster’s the balls are small and you score a lot.

Think about that next time you feel like comparing NCAA career stats of Caitlin Clark vs. Pistol Pete or anyone else. It’s simply easier to score with a smaller ball.

It’s easier to dunk with a smaller ball, too. In high school I could dunk a volleyball but couldn’t come close with a basketball.

Based on one widely followed valuation metric, the S&P 500 has only been this expensive on one other occasion in its entire history, and that was in 2000 at the peak of the dot-com bubble. What followed was one of the steepest declines investors have ever endured, and from the bottom of that trough, it took half a decade for the index to recover and begin setting new highs again. Is history about to repeat itself?

Trump and who knows where the number came from. Probably the same fevered imagination as the 350-foot gash in the reflecting pool. As I accurately predicted @70, you swallow his lies whole.

The noncitizen registrations were a one-off, caused by a private vendor’s screwup. The software asked people applying for, or renewing, driver’s licenses or state IDs if they were citizens. All 6,600 checked the “no” box. That should have blocked the “do you want to register to vote” box, not allowed them to check the “yes’ box. Of the 6,600 who did, 400 voted, because the state led them to believe they could.

And most of them probably were better voters than you.

He has $200,000, unless he sells stock and real estate, which he isn’t going to do. He doesn’t have any real estate worth $10 million, so most likely would have to sell all of it, and while he might have that much stock, if he sells it he’ll have a hefty tax bill.

What’s more, an offer like this isn’t legally enforceable, and he surely knows that. It’s not a contract, because there was no consideration. It’s nothing more than a notorious braggart’s empty posturing.

Let’s say Trump fires Pirro, and replaces her with someone who refiles the charges, which is possible because they were dismissed “without prejudice.” Now the situation is:

    (1) A U.S. attorney has already dismissed the charges.
    (2) The motion for dismissal effectively admitted the defendant is innocent.
    (3) It’s clear the charges are being refiled on Trump’s direct order.

What do you suppose the refiled charges’s lifespan in court will be, when the defendant’s attorneys file a motion to dismiss?
