One thing I miss about my old job was one of our salmon tender boats was a crabber called the North American. Sank while moored along the canal two years ago. It was built during the Bicentennial, still had the logo as her figurehead. I believe the cause of her sinking was corrosion allowing water to seep in. Thankfully no one was aboard.
