    I still have faith that Thomas and Alito will find a way to dissent, that Alito will make Thomas write it, and that he will make a complete ass of himself in it.

    I also leave open the potential for three other MAGA justices to join them in coming up with some kind of limited restriction on birth right citizenship. But if they manage that, it will have to depend on Alito to deftly thread that needle, convincing the other three to join. And it doesn’t seem like he has that in him anymore.

And most of the time at least some of those others they identify and target are people living in disadvantaged or marginalized circumstances.
