In North Carolina, Michele Morrow, a nutcase who said Obama should be executed, extended her losing streak by getting 6% of the GOP Senate primary vote. Previously, she lost a race for state schools superintendent (2024) and a local school board election (2022).

In Texas, James Talarico is ahead of Jasmine Crockett, 53% to 46%, with over a million votes counted; while on the GOP side Cornyn is slightly ahead of Paxton, 43% to 41%.

It’s not completely certain that Ayatollah Junior is still among the living. He was originally among the 40 or so Iranian official higher-ups who were reportedly reduced to room temperature on Saturday, and he has not yet been seen, although if he’s alive it’s understandable that he is not out in public. Or even photographed next to a screenshot of today’s Al Jazeera.

After the Texas Republican leg redistricted last summer the Republican Sec of State never updated any of the published precinct maps showing voters where to vote.

Today hundreds of thousands of voters were turned away from precinct polling places and could not vote because they followed the Republican Sec of State maps that sent them to the wrong polling places.

    • It doesn’t seem to be statewide.

    • The suit primarily involves Dallas County.

    • The confusion is apparently among Democrat voters.

    • In Dallas County Jasmine Crockett is currently up 61-32 with 70% of the cast votes counted, so if there are “hundreds of thousands” of uncast votes, then calling it for Talarico might be a bit premature.

Care to revise your bullshit, Elijah?

  12. Vicious Troll spews:

    Tuesday, 3/3/26 at 8:39 pm

Elijah @ 9 blames a Republican for a problem that is not happening statewide. In fact, the precincts were updated more than two months ago:

Brenda Allen, executive director of the Dallas Democratic Party, said her offices were swamped by hundreds of calls from voters of both parties trying to find their precincts. She noted that congressional districts in the county also were remapped in Texas’ mid-decade redistricting and that new precinct lines were only finalized in December, leaving little time to inform voters.

Little time for Democrats to inform voters, maybe. The GOP didn’t go running to the courts because their county apparatchiks are incompetent like the Democrats apparently did.

Lots of reports of people being turned away, hundreds of people unable to vote. “

So it’s hundreds, not Elijah’s claimed “hundreds of thousands”, of affected voters. Elijah was off by a factor of 1,000.

North Carolina’s Carla Cunningham was the decisive vote, forcing North Carolina’s police to comply with ICE. In a floor speech prior to the vote, Cunningham stated “not all cultures are equal“

Tonight she lost by almost 50% to a progressive pastor and anti-ice activist in a safe blue district.

The message is clear. Collaborate at your peril.

The mullah who got killed in that attack against Iran recently was an Islamic cleric who said “No” to nukes. The guy that replaces him won’t say that. Iran will pursue a path towards nuclear weapons, primarily to tell the Americans to mind their own fucking business.

In fact, there are 30 or 40 non-aligned nations who now are looking at their hold cards and coming to the conclusion that they must get nuclear weapons to prevent domination by the US.

Supporting Zionism-no-matter-what is going to have some serious consequences. The West has fucked around and, in a few years, they will get to the find out part.

A brief note on why, once again, the lying troll is a lying troll.

Note his spew completely ignores the stated facts. Instead he observed that problems were concentrated in Dallas County and that it most affected Democrats.

First, let’s dispense with the obvious (and frankly ridiculous). Dallas County is overwhelmingly Democratic. So any disenfranchisement focused on Dallas County will of course disproportionately impact Democratic voters. This is not accidental. This is by design.

Like many other counties in Texas, since 2019 Dallas County relied on operating countywide voting centers where any voter registered in the county could cast their ballot. But ahead of this year’s midterms the Dallas County Republican party blew that up. They unilaterally decided to shift back to precinct level polling places for this party primary. And by state law in Texas, what one party decides is imposed on the county. So Dallas County was forced to switch the party primary away from the open voting centers to precinct based polling locations at the insistence of the tiny white minority of Republicans.

And so, not surprisingly, the problems are concentrated in the almost entirely Democratic county where the racist white minority of Republicans forced the change.
But the problems got a huge lift from the intentional malfeasance of the racist, white Republican Secretary of State.

So, you see, once again, the lying troll is a fucking lying troll.

It turns out that Mojtaba Khamenei is not yet the new ayatollah.

It also turns out that nobody has seen him since the Saturday strike on daddy’s compound.

Clerics charged with choosing Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s successor were considering announcing Mojtaba Khamenei’s new role as soon as this morning, The New York Times reported, citing three Iranian officials familiar with the discussions.

The New York Times report comes after semiofficial Iranian news agency Mehr news reported that Khamenei’s son was alive and well after the deadly strikes launched by the U.S. and Israel that killed his father and other family members, including Mojtaba Khamenei’s wife.

Mehr reported yesterday that Mojtaba Khamenei was “overseeing matters related to the martyrs of the family, managing affairs, and providing consultation and review on important national issues.”

    Also not what he wrote.

The lying troll wrote that, according to an unnamed source, “hundreds of people unable to vote”. He even put it in bold. I’m sure it’s yet another crushing MAGA disappointment that thanks to legal interventions most of the voters who were initially turned away from polling places were eventually enabled to cast their ballot. This A/B test in disenfranchisement would appear to have been a failure.

We point once again to Utah’s extensive audit of their voter rolls and registration system to ‘remove non-citizens’ in 2025. Of the 1.6 (rounded) million registered Utahns the GOP led search found ONE, yes one non citizen registered to vote. And for that one person they could find no record of a cast ballot in any election.
