I don’t think you Dems have to worry: Gregoire will win the election in November. The Republicans, at all levels, have screwed up so much that a turnip with a “D” after its name would win against any Republican. GWB and his folks have pretty much ruined the Republicans’ chances in November.
Heh with her $650,000 +++ in Quid Pro campaign contributions from Indian tribes that hit the jackpot she should be celebrating the evening in a Jail Cell.
We could have paid for one hell of alot of government if we had the 140 million she gave away in her trade for campaign support.
We have a Republican AG. I can only assume if there were evidence of a crime, he would pursue it. So point me to that story.
Must really make the traitors on the right nervous. FlipFlop McCain was only able to get 240 people to his big election-night speech a week or so ago and a Democratic Governor all the way out in Washington attracts thousands. Must be demoralizing.

Well, the band attracted thousands, shot some money the governor’s way and helped make sure folks will get out and vote. Which is freakin’ awesome.
While the big races are looking good I’m still worried about some of the smaller ones like Pierce County executive and commissioner of public lands.
We’re helped in executive race in the the Master Builders backed Pat McCarthy (D) (Calvin Goings is the other D and hopeful winner), who has little chance of winning, rather than Shawn Bunny (R- RTID failure boy).

@2 Why shouldn’t tribes be able to contribute to any politician they want to? BIAW can. Corporations can. Rich people can. What do you have against Indians? They have as much free speech as you do. I didn’t see you complaining about Indian campaign contributions when they were giving millions to Jack Abramoff for scuzzbuckets like Rick Santorum and Tom DeLay. Screw yourself, neo-hypocrite!

With electricity inflation in the Puget Sound region now running at a 140% annualized rate, this should be an interesting election. After the dust settles, there isn’t going a WSRP. There aren’t going to be any builders left. There won’t be a BIAW. They’ll all go away. It’s not the Rapture, but it’s just as good as the Rapture!!

Hey when is the media going to look at FlipFlop McCain’s singular effort to keep POW records sealed? Even though many republicans want these records unsealed so their constituents can find out what happened to loved ones, JohnBoy seems to have something to hide. What’s up JohnBoy? Afraid we’ll find out you’re not the war hero you pretend to be?
John McCain has always been a panderer. His time in Hanoi was just the start of such behavior.
I’m sorry but I’m not all that convinced of his ‘heroism’ back then. Survival can depend on lots of things, lots of choices good and bad. He gave interviews to enemy doctors, talked freely with visiting dignitaries.
Then he miraculously makes it out alive. Shortly afterward, he gets a chest full of medals, a new wife and a fortune in beer.
Lots of guys in those POW camps should have had it so lucky. Perhaps they should have made themselves available to the VC press.

No, not 50 years. The Democrats, when they get in, will revert to their usual dumbass mode, and the Republicans will capitalize on that. The Republicans will get yet another chance.
