    4. The charges against her were promptly dropped.

    5. A GoFundMe for her has raised $170,000 to pay lawyers to sue the private security firm. The goal was $30,000.

    Because MAGA Nazis produced this bilateral meeting for the exclusive purposes of putting on that disgraceful television show. It’s a performance art piece with the intended audience being a Russian dictator who launches chemical attacks on his own civilians and the hooting mob of MAGA baboons who admire him for that.

    What’s possibly miscalculated here is how a European audience will respond. Zelensky had no choice but to show up and plead with tyrants for his people’s survival. Sure it was tragic, and humiliating and intended to be deeply demoralizing. But it’s likely to also be terrifying to a lot of European viewers, including sovereign state leaders who don’t want to be chosen next.

    There are a few ways they can respond to that. And only one of them is good for Putin.

    The former allies all have complex decisions to formulate. Now that the U.S. led by Fat Hitler has chosen to realign itself with Russian interests and in favor of Russian aggression against Europe, in order to immediately move forward with their own independent policies of confrontation they must quickly disentangle their own security from U.S. military and diplomatic institutions.

    The old NATO is certainly dead. But Europe most definitely needs a strong and unified security alliance, now more than ever with the U.S. aligning itself against them with an aggressively unstable and increasingly desperate Russian dictator. But whether now is the best time to reformulate that security alliance, and whether that should include pursuing territorial sovereignty for Ukraine will have to be determined. That process of determination will begin Sunday.

    That’s a perfectly natural consequence of the United States withdrawing its support from the NATO security alliance.

    Of course one of the driving reasons behind U.S. support for the formation of NATO in the first place was to contain nuclear proliferation while simultaneously offering nuclear security to European nations faced with a very real, existential threat posed by a nuclear armed Soviet Union. At the time the USSR was invading European neighbors, was actively engaged in destabilizing campaigns within every European nation, and was positioning nuclear forces in border regions all across Europe.

    The greatly diminished Russian empire that confronts them today is even more armed with nuclear weapons than ever before, has precision deep strike capability from hardened locations, and as we can clearly see, is still engaging in destabilizing campaigns all across Europe and still invading Europe’s neighbors. Europe and the former NATO alliance countries certainly can’t afford to move forward relying on U.S. nuclear deterrence. It is no longer a credible deterrent, now that Fat Hitler has announced a new realignment in support of Russia, opposing European security. The UK and France simply can’t afford to be the only European nations with their own nuclear weapons.

    So with regard to the fairly predictable MAGA Nazi and affiliated media reactions, this is obviously not bluster, obviously not an overreaction, and it certainly is not any kind of surprise to anyone adequately informed about the history and purposes of NATO. A large proportion of Americans will probably gladly gobble up that rhetoric because Americans are obviously quite ignorant about European history, even recent history.

    But Europeans know European history pretty well. And they may not be willing to go forward in the 21st century facing the constant oppression of Russian security threats that can be, and are routinely leveraged with threats of nuclear attack. Americans should be reminded that Russia has offered threats to use nuclear weapons to defend their invasion of Ukraine against Ukraine, and against the United States and our NATO allies, since 2023.

    One of our ignorant trolls engaged in frequent freaking out about it here beginning in 2023. And it was pointed out to that ignorant troll at the time that the safest way to confront that threat is by using Ukraine in the way that President Biden did, to effectively weaken and contain Russian territorial aggression and thereby reassure our European and NATO allies that conventional doctrine of military and economic containment could be successful without resorting to nuclear escalation.

    Fat Hitler just stripped away those reassurances and pissed on them in front of the whole world.

    Nuclear proliferation is inevitable. Whether or not nuclear escalation become inevitable will now depend on Europe, Russia, and Vladimir Putin. By doing what he has done, Fat Hitler has deprived the United States of any influence over that process. Which is exactly what Putin would have wanted if Fat Hitler were acting according to his wishes. Which he obviously is.

In my case, they told me I could no longer drive the five minutes in my golf cart to my hearing aids specialist for adjustments and instead have to now come into the VA clinic with a drive of over 45 minutes.
