    I was watching the stream of the O’Dea game, and was surprised by the running clock in the 4th quarter. Must be a new rule adopted by the WIAA. When I was there, to avoid running up the score, I remember once seeing the coach tell the players to take a few Delay of Game penalties to avoid running up the score. When my brother was in High School, O’Dea had a game where they won by over 70, and the Metro League and WIAA weren’t happy. Who wasn’t complaining? The opposing coach!

    Metro might be missing an opportunity, should send some up to Vancouver to observe this one. There are several routes currently operated by Diesel-Electrics that a battery trolleybus would work great on. Some that pass along trolleybus routes, others that could be doable with a few short stretches of new wire. In hilly terrain, only need to wire the uphill section. Existing routes like the 3 First Hill could use the multiple doors of this design, in the US and Canada, most 40ft buses have 2 doors, this design, from Poland, has three, which is pretty common there.

    KY Gov Andy Beshear has a very good legal argument for ignoring the unconstitutional requirements that Kentucky Republicans have attempted to impose on his office in appointing any replacement for that states now catatonic imbecile of a US Senator. Those requirements do appear to violate the 17th amendment as well as Kentucky’s constitution.

    This puts Kentucky Republicans in a fairly impossible position, having to choose between protecting a Senate seat and avoiding episodes of President Dark Brandon heroically stripping off his fighter pilot sunglasses and rushing to the aid of his collapsing, ancient “Republican friend”.

How many ordinary rural folks can afford a half-million-dollar computer-guided tractor?
