    Interesting program that the SEATTLE Fire Department is rolling out, called Health One. A multi discipline team of firefighters and case managers designed to help individuals needing medical care, mental health care, shelter, and other social services. Started in 2019, and absent in the debate over policing last year. Hope it works, and that it is not handed over to the SPD like water rescues were under Mayor Shell. If Health One is successful, might end up like that experiment with paramedics back in 1970. Right now, Health One is just getting stood up, only been 2019, and only up to 3 units.

    If his actual understanding were that influenza kills “hundreds” each year, why on earth would he have struggled and fought to bring it up as an example in comparison to COVID which killed more than half a million people in the U.S. before vaccines became widely available?

San Francisco still has PCCs running on the F line, and their is talk of moving the J line out of the Subway and replacing the modern LRVs with the older streetcars.     Been looking into Maryland Transit Administration’s MARC service lately since it now shows up on the Pantograph Pro App. Love the two Baltimore-Washington lines, the Penn and Camden, as well as that one that branches west from Union Station, the Brunswick Line, or as I call it’s portion west of Brunswick, the Moocher Line. It’s a Maryland service, but a few years ago, Annapolis got tired of picking up West Virginia’s tab for it’s portion, but Charleston is paying now, but it’s an annual appropriation. I would cut it back from Martinsburg to Harpers Ferry. Sounder may have it’s issues, but at least we didn’t inherit a legacy service’s baggage.
