    (CNN) A California Superior Court judge has ordered President Donald Trump to pay $44,100 to Stephanie Clifford, also known as Stormy Daniels, to reimburse her attorneys’ fees in the legal battle surrounding her nondisclosure agreement.

    The judge’s order was issued Monday but posted online Friday by Clifford’s attorneys.

    Clifford, an adult-film actress who says she had an affair with Trump from 2006 to 2007, signed a $130,000 nondisclosure agreement with former Trump attorney Michael Cohen, who represented a shell company and a “David Dennison,” which Clifford contends is a pseudonym for Trump. Trump denies the affair occurred.

    Last night a party of guests attending Robert Trump’s memorial at the White House went out to eat dinner at a prominent nearby fine dining establishment. No reservation.     It’s an unlawful arrest. The arrest includes an unlawful use of force.
    Let’s be clear: here in the United States our constitution guarantees to every citizen the right to remain silent, and the right to order trespassing police off of their property. Doing either of these thing is not, and can not form the basic probably cause for an arrest. Refusing to answer questions and ordering trespassing police off of your property are not crimes. They are rights guaranteed under the constitution to all citizens, even the poor black ones.

    Police officers are not “entitled” to cooperation. The law does not require it. And the law does not empower them to assault citizens when they fail to cooperate.

    The BLM movement’s demands for reforms extend into all kinds of situations and daily interactions, especially those involving police and the criminal justice system in America. This officer is fired. But the posturing and public statements of the agency and the local prosecutor with respect to this unlawful arrest decries the basic constitutional rights they are all sworn to uphold. They continue to place their duty to themselves and their agency ahead of their duty to the citizens they serve and the constitution they are sworn to uphold. And their doing so has everything to do with the race and status of the family involved.

    Never, under any circumstances does that give rise to warrantless entry onto curtilage, compulsory interrogation, and use of high voltage torture devices. The only sensible response by a public agency is to investigate the officer thoroughly, fire him, and then apologize profusely. Anything short of that stands as a clear demonstration of the compelling and enduring need for a BLM movement to continue.

    I may have mentioned, but I can’t recall, that I broke my collar bone about 8 weeks ago because of bicycle fall. A pretty bad break, I was a candidate for surgery but it wasn’t suggested as necessary so I decided to let it heal on it’s own and it is healing to my knowledge. Surgery would have eliminated the bump that I’ll have forever, but came with other risks and a longer healing period. So I live with a bump. Tuesday I go in for another round of x-rays to check on it. The previous round of x-rays showed calcification starting.

    My arm is in a sling. Currently I don’t need it all the time, but when I am outside walking around I put it on. This morning was like the 6th time a complete stranger says to me “hope you feel better”. Complete strangers that are just walking by.

    I don’t think this would happen in the suburbs, partly because people do less “walking by”. People in the suburbs only care about themselves. I have never walked by a stranger and said something like that, but I’ve helped a blind lady and blind man one time or on occasion.

    The majority of the time the individual was a minority.

    I track three polls with national (ugh) results for the relevant time frames.

    All three show increases over the two week period from before the DNC until after. Puddy just cherry picked a single poll and an artificially small window to get what he wanted. He searched and found what he wanted to find.

    I don’t actually expect much big change from the conventions this year on national polls. Hoping to see some movement where it matters, especially in the days and weeks that follow as the “moments” and “impressions” are distributed and amplified via social media and conventional media. Only partisans watch the actual broadcasts.

    Yep in this instance looking at identical polls with identical methodologies is the only comparison to be made until more data comes in. It’s called scientific method. One can only work with the data at hand, not the data you hope to have in the future. 2 of the three polls that have been done both completely before DNC and then repeated completely after show an increase for Joe Biden. The other remained the same but puts Donald in a really terrible position 2 months and change before the election.

    So naturally Piddles wants to highlight the one poll that is STILL really terrible for a sitting incumbent but not worse than it was before the convention.
