    Be alert for someone alegedly from the IRS calling you and threatening you about some crazy tax issues. They aren’t the IRS, and it’s a total scam to get your money or personal info to work evil against you.

    These knuckleheads try this shit from time to time. It goes away, then re-appears a few months later. You’d think these crooks would learn this scam doesn’t work and move on to something else such as picking pockets or dealing meth from the back of a 1979 Ford Econoline van in a War-Mart parking lot in Omak.

    Amazon will keep the knowledge it needs from Whole Foods and integrate Amazon’s distribution model. The grocery supply chain is filled with breakpoints and is also run by unions in a lot of cases. That might change a lot. Delivery of produce and goods along the entire supply chain will get a lot more efficient.

    Before the call, though, the IRS will send a letter, then the collection agency will send you a letter, telling you to expect it.

    @2 Actually Democrats who are claiming these high principals should demand that Mueller step down, or be replaced as the man is Comey’s friend and also has an interest in keeping his own legacy intact.

    One would think Muellers first step is showing the American people what the big deal, connection, specific illegal act between the Russians and the Trump team. I have yet to see it. Yes Flagg has a couple of things that should get his hand slapped, still he seemed to be working for Turkey. At some point the raw data ex cetera is going to have to be dumped out of the intelligence agencies and sources, people ect burned if there is any substance to any of this other than Clapper reading something and thinking oh there could be collusion. Not like the man ever lied to Congress in order to keep the deep state secrets secret.
    Whatever Mueller uncovers if he uncovers anything is going to suffer from a degree of corruption, unless he finds nothing, or he can get Russians to come over and testify openly and truthfully. Otherwise the whole thing is just a witch hunt. Or a Russian hunt or just another red scare that some congress person will use to rise in power, until hubris brings him or her down, but meanwhile a lot of innocents will be bulldozed in the name of political power.

    The shame of the current situation may be the President has a loan from a Russian bank and the Russian government could use it to manipulate him. Could be true, or false, but the real shame of it all is that Hiliary Clinton is and was just a in the Russians pockets because of a 100 billion dollar deal giving the Russian’s 20 percent of the US plutonium reserves.
    If true then the system is so corrupt it failed to be able to operate in a fashion the American voter could make a choice. Not that it mattered as the Russian’s had both candidates in their pockets, and did not need to play the shenanigans they did in the past election, but they were true to form and did what they have done in elections past, and what other nations and the US does in other nations elections,,,,attempt to manipulate the results. Sometimes these manipulations go astray such as when Obama attempts to influence the Brexit vote, that went magnificently sideways. Now the mess continues to simmer, and will hit the fan later this summer and could drag out economy down with it. So far Teresa May survives, but for how much longer and she is not the new Ironlady.

    @10 This is a clear indication something is wrong at the IRS. It is time for the IRS to hire some people, and do it’s job. If that means taking tax avoiders to court, and maybe to jail that is just fine, it’s a function of the IRS and should not be handed over to a private business. It’s something the government can do and should do. The US government should enforce its tax code itself, this is a progressive concept, for an institution that is a progressive concept. And a liberal one that we all should pay the taxes we owe, and taxes should cover the services we want from the government, though printing money is ok too.

    @13 Though tax lawyers usually will only represent taxpayers who owe $10,000 or more in back taxes or fines, ect. Tax lawyers like to make money, and aren’t there for Bob and Mary Public who owe $500 to Uncle Sam. Poor Bob and Mary are going to disappointed when they go to the IRS pay the tax and then get contacted by the IRS new contracted collectors, and it will take them months to clear up the problem with no help from a tax lawyer they cannot afford, or would have to pay more too than what they owe. They may even think the guy who calls for the scam is a nice guy and cheap in comparison to the collector. Then they will realize they have been scammed, and the IRS and the IRS collector will insist they pay the tax bill they have now paid twice.

    @22 A good company with great managers cold just pay their workers well. This is good management and comes with a host of benefits to the company such as lower turn over, happy employees, an emphasis on training, procedures that allow employees to make real decisions that improve the bottom line and appropriate policies that allow employees to learn from mistakes rather than being shown the door. The whole union and non union trop is only half true. Just too many companies are not run particularly run well, or to the benefit of all of its inside and outside customers, and to the benefit of their owners long term interests, yet CEO’s at companies that hire non union and treat employees like slaves will make sure they are paid extremely well, stealing from inside and outside customers and screwing the stock holders. They will also make sure the stock holders can’t fire them. At least not without a parachute.

    @28 I think it has a lot to do with redlining that prevented blacks living in east Chicago and other suburbs of Chicago being unable to get home loans, and were generally unable to join in the middle class unlike similarly situated whites who were able to move into other areas. Happened in Seattle too, and red lining was really done by our Government. So we should insist Whole Foods and/or Kroger situate grocery stores in areas that are food deserts whether or not they have high levels of crime. There is a clear way for neighborhoods to gentrify, and the folks in East Chicago are over due.
