whatever… The chimp and his puppetmaster Rove showed you can fool a majority of the people for about 6 years give or take a few months. I guess most salespeople wish they had a streak that long with the products and services they represent.
I guess it’s ok to go to those things if salesfolk really represented products and services that truly helped people and organizations, that delivered real value. Maybe they could pick up a tip or two.
But a lot of the time that’s not the case and those type of things just help salespeople to bamboozle the gullible.

Even if participating in motivational seminars cheapens the American presidency, I think it’s appropriate for GW. Such a role fits him well.
