Columbia University protestor Mohsen Mahdawi appeared in Federal Court this morning in Vermont where the judge ordered his immediate release and issued order that he is not to be removed from the country.

Mahdawi is the activist who was grabbed at the personal intervention of Marco Rubio when voluntarily attending what was supposed to be his final green card interview. He has been in the US as a West Bank refugee since 2014. Widdle Marco insists it’s a foreign policy hinderance for anyone to say out loud, “Genocide is bad.” or “Bombing Hospitals is bad” or “Razing an entire city under the guise of ‘fighting Hamas’ is bad.”

Because the Government was legally compelled to have him at the hearing in person they could not play any games with his release and he walked out of the courthouse where he told reporters who asked his message to Donnie, “I’m not afraid of you.”

Re: Pride Puppy.. From the article..

I wanted to try and figure out how Gorsuch—who, again, claimed to have read Pride Puppy in its entirety—could have possibly reached the erroneous conclusion that it introduces children to the worlds of BDSM and sex work. So, I searched the record in Mahmoud v. Taylor for any references to leather, bondage, drag, or sex workers…

On the other hand, the briefs filed by the parents and their amici are absolutely riddled with references to “leather,” along with “lip ring” and “underwear,” as examples of the supposedly salacious bonus items to which unsuspecting Pride Puppy readers may be exposed. I am sure you will be unsurprised to learn that none of these briefs acknowledge that the “leather” is, again, an expensive piece of outwear, or that the “underwear” is worn Superman-style by a person with tights underneath…

i.e. The plaintiffs (and fucking Gorsuch) are fucking liars with their “minds” in the sewer. Prolly people with “varied sex lives” or patrons of local vip rooms. Reminds me of a moldering dumbfuck in widbee.

The latest document, which was obtained and reviewed by Fox News Digital, adds to the mounting evidence against Abrego Garcia and alleges that his wife accused him of verbal and physical abuse against her and mental abuse against her children.

The petition for protection form filed in Maryland by Jennifer Vasquez Sura has boxes checked for “acts of abuse,” including kicking, slapping, shoving, mental injury of a child and detaining against will.

On Aug. 11, 2020, Vasquez Sura asked for the petition to be rescinded, saying her family wanted to take part in their son’s birthday, and Abrego Garcia “also agreed to continue counseling and if not [he’s] willing to sign divorce papers.”

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele have been directly in touch about the detention of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, whom the US mistakenly deported to El Salvador’s notorious megaprison, according to multiple sources familiar with the previously undisclosed discussions.

A US official also told CNN the Trump administration has been working closely with El Salvador and asked for Abrego Garcia’s return but insisted that Bukele has made clear that he’s not returning him to the US, citing an Oval Office meeting between Bukele and President Donald Trump this month.

    https://www.aol.com/marco-rubio-salvadoran-president-touch-160758753.html

They’re almost certainly lying, because Bukele doesn’t have any reason to keep Garcia; but if Bukele indeed is the obstacle, that’s easy enough. First you cut off all payments to El Salvador for all deportees. If that doesn’t motivate him, you send in a military-backed extraction team. If that doesn’t work, you order a full-scale military invasion to replace his government.

The snake oil and quackery bidness is highly profitable:

There’s no question that the number of people diagnosed with autism has grown over the past decades — but Kennedy goes to great lengths to pathologize it. Also, for many years, he has been part of an industry that exploits autistic children and their parents for profit.

The anti-vaccine lobby is a business. It holds lucrative sales conferences. Serious science reporters are routinely denied permission to attend and, if caught sneaking in, are escorted out. (See Anna Merlan’s account of being kicked out of an AutismOne conference in 2019 or this excerpt from Seth Mnookin’s 2011 book, “The Panic Virus: A True Story of Medicine, Science, and Fear.”)

The conferences are filled with sales booths run by hucksters selling autism “treatments.” They include oral and injected vitamins, probiotics, CBD, unpasteurized apple juice and colostrum from lactating cows. Shields to block 5G cell signals. Hyperbaric chambers like those used to treat scuba divers. Microsoft has fired Simpson Thatcher & Bartlett and hired Jenner & Block.

    Almost to the day of S T & B capitulating…

In a lawsuit brought by Jenner and Block, D.C. District Judge John Bates described Trump’s executive order — which aims to strip the firms’ attorneys of any security clearances they may hold and severely restrict any business they may have before the federal government

It’s not really feasible to have the law firm representing you against the SEC, the FTC et al ALSO be in an agreement to ‘go easy’ on the current administration while representing the Administration’s positions pro bono.

This all comports with the basic charactersitic shared by that whole community.

And that most certainly includes RFK, Jr.
As such they are all completely convinced that all disease and all pathology arises from an organism’s environmental exposures in all respects. So lifestyle, diet, nutrition, exercise, environmental toxins, workplace exposures, stress, narcotics, and even exposures to medicine are what they believe produce all disease, including autism.

Qanon is fully in the house.

    RFKjr today

During the Biden administration HHS became a collaborator in child trafficking for sex and for slavery. And we have ended that and we are very aggressively going out and trying to find these children, 300,000 children that were lost by the Biden admin.

No junior shit for brains. As has been covered ad nauseam… REPORTED missing is not LOST. Most are found right away.

You can look up the FBI data (adding the link nuked this post) and of the 375k reports of missing kids in 2023, 845 yes less than a thousand moved to a full investigation after the kids didn’t show up alive at home or safe with a parent (custody issue usually) or occasionally unidentified in a morgue as a result of murder or accident soon after the initial report. You’re a parent, kids not home at 10pm after school so you call in missing person and then kid comes home at midnight because they were engaging in some kind of activity with a friend. Maybe in the backseat of a car.

The Center for Missing and Exploited Children has debunked this claim thoroughly. And repeatedly.

The GOP plans to revamp student debt payments, and you can bet money it’ll make things harder — not easier — for student debtors.

Under the GOP’s new proposal … there would be just two repayment options for those with federal student loans. Currently, borrowers have about 12 ways to repay their student debt ….

    Aaaand, heeere it is …

While the U.S. Department of Education’s current income-driven repayment plans typically conclude in loan forgiveness after 20 or 25 years, the new GOP plan wouldn’t lead to debt cancellation for 30 years. New borrowers also wouldn’t have a share of their income protected anymore, as they do now.

US National Science Foundation (NSF) stops awarding new grants and funding existing ones
US science funder also plans to screen grant applications for compliance with ‘agency priorities’.
The policy prevents the NSF, one of the world’s biggest supporters of basic research, from awarding new research grants and from supplying allotted funds for existing grants, such as those that receive yearly increments of money.

Quick reminder, because the MAGA regime obtained a sign-off for a criminal complaint warrant against Judge Dugan on April 24th, that started the clock as soon as the magistrate signed the complaint. That gives them now just three more weeks to obatin an indictment from a federal grand jury. And we won’t really know how weak or not the government case is until then.

Good defense attorneys like the ones Dugan has will attempt to prevent them from presenting some of their “evidence” in front of that grand jury. And depending on what it is, they may choose the option of putting Dugan herself on the stand. They’ll also challenge the DOJ’s presentation if it selectively omits relevant facts about the events that occured that day.

Federal grand juries are not as independent as they are often portrayed. The circuit courts exercise supervision over the entire grand jury process and restrict prosecutors from controlling them. The circuits sit ready to hear challenges from witnesses and potential or named defendants. The FBI took only six days to “investigate” the allegations presented in the complaint. The affidavit contains a lot of injected opinion from the swearing agent as well as from unnamed “witnesses”. It seems to rely on this a lot to support the intent requirements in the statute. All of that is liable to challenge before the gran jury.

It’s possible the case will not survive long enough to get to a motion for dismissal. It may not reach an indictment. But that all depends on what “evidence” the DOJ thinks it has and how much of it they can actually introduce in front of a grand jury.
