Doc Hastings has now been in Congress longer than just about anyone else who has ever represented the 4th District and has done far less in Congress than Jay Inslee did in one term representing the 4th.
But that might be why they keep electing him over there.
There is a great need for a credible challenger for Doc and the 4th District.
Or for Doc to reflect and decide that it is well past time for him to move on. Which is still quite possible.
