Bad football or a parade broadcast that features Broadway musical numbers instead of giant balloons? Maybe putting up the War on Christmas lights would be better use of time…
Hey, Happy Thanksgiving to all the HA folks.
So much to be thankful for….
Best to all.

Happy Thanksgiving to one and all.

Well, you could have switched to the Discovery Channel and watched Mike Rowe learn how to clean out a manure digester…

Wow! We’re too busy cooking to wage the war on Christmas. O’Felafel man will have to wait.
Bird’s been in the oven for an hour and a half now. Stuffing about ready. Gotta work on the veggie. When done will celebrate with a highball glass of Pinot Noir.
Happy Holidays.

What are you talking about? Don’t you realize the Westminster dog show is on TV today? And you don’t need cable to watch it.

Looking forward to “Survivor” recap at 8pm, should be a good one you could check out!
Yes, Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Stay safe and stuffed! For as little traffic as there was on Aurora in the northend around 3-4pm, I couldn’t believe how many fire trucks were running around blaring in all different directions; plus accidents I saw in just a 2-3 mile trip. Feels good to be home with my truck parked off the street.
I ended up going out to Sharis to grab Turkey dinner to go. Turned out be a surprisingly good dinner. Wasn’t much in the holiday spirit, lost my Dad last Friday and have been dealing with kitchen contractors. Still, I’m thankful that by probably next Wednesday, my 15-mo long nightmare with the mold abatement will be blessedly OVER.

Whew! What a dinner! When the wine starts flowin’ and flavors vary from the very salty of the gravy to the very sweet of the cranberry relish you KNOW you’re in the zone of the celebration – a festival of flavor and inebriation!
We capped it all off with some hands of Texas Hold ’em. On the third or fourth hand I wiped out the wife when I went all in – my two pair beat hers.
I’m indeed very thankful for the very good health and spirits of my beloved family and I hope everyone out there is in good stead as well.
I’m even thankful for the wingnuts. Your bankrupt thinking and mindless dittoheading of Limbaugh, Sean Insanity, Savage-Weiner, the Moon, Scaife and Murdoch publications, the endless lunacy of Fixed News, the WSJ editorial pages and the legions of right wing radio hate talkers and 1000’s of whacked out loony websites so far to the right it’s totally insane. I’m out of breath. I’m thankful for you all too.
You wingnuts are the supreme validation of last Nov 4. You are what this country so desperately needed to GET AWAY from!! Thank you for being YOU.
After the HOLE those YOU WORSHIP dug for this country. Well all I can say is we sure have our work cut out for us. It’s going to take every ounce of our optimism, energy and good humor to get our beloved nation back on track.
Well on to the pumpkin pie and whipped cream, a cup of constant comment and we’ll catch the last part of Braveheart before turning in.
