It’s a Drinking Liberally double feature for me tonight as the Columbia City chapter meets from 6PM to 8PM at the Columbia City Theater, 4916 Rainier AVE S. (next door to Tutta Bella’s), followed by the Seattle chapter which meets tonight (and every Tuesday), 8PM onward at the Montlake Ale House, 2307 24th Avenue E. Stop on by for some hoppy beer and hopped up conversation.

Columbia City was named after Christopher Columbus. Some streets in the area were also named after explorers, like Ferdinand street (Magellan), (Henry) Hudson street, and Americus street (Vespucci).

If Obama is elected, part of EVERYBODY’S 401K and other investments will be confiscated for “the good of the state” in the form of increased taxes on cap gains and dividends. Comrade Obama says he will only soak the “rich,” but his policies will really take money from 100 MILLION hard-working Americans with any kind of investments, retirement, 401K’s… Furthermore, his protectionist trade policies, his pro-union stance and his unwillingness to fix the oil supply crisis will skyrocket the cost of goods.
If Midwesterners are lucky, Comrade Obama will allow them to work on a kolhoz instead of a sovhoz. Everyone else will end up in “Obamavilles.”
