It would also be good if Rand Paul is in the Senate because he will vote to remove Trump in the Senate’s impeachment trial. I think the impeach event process will begin in late February or early March, 2027. It will probably be complete sometime in April or early May.

    Hopefully, some of the other Republican members of the House and Senate will support removing Trump from office.

The Vintage operation was weekend only and eliminated in the 2008 recession, plus the modern line had evolved into a growing system, and their original cars are being retired a little early compared to TriMet’s Type 1, only after 25 years. Although the Type 1 was the only order for this model in North America it was still a generic high floor LRV, TriMet occasionally in periods of low traffic still runs MAX trains with just one car, which since 1997 they couldn’t do with the Type 1. Accessibility for people with reduced mobility prior to the low floor was done with lifts at stations. It was ok when it was just Downtown Portland to Gresham. When the Type 2s are retired, I hope more museums are interested, the Type 2 is the original low floor LRV.
