All right!

  • By next week, light rail will go all the way South to Federal Way.
  • The transition for the first newly elected King County Executive in over a decade was going to be a shakeup. Still, this seems like more than might be necessary.
  • Don’t give those fuckos our voter info.
  • Range Media is having a fundraiser.
  • The legislature is going to be in session before you know it, so hey, write your legislators.

Democrats have been spared the embarrassment of a Cuellar trial, which had been scheduled for April, 2026.

Any ideas what DJT47 will get in return?

The Atlantic has a profile of the governor whom YLB refers to only as The Jew.

Shapiro knew that I would take one more run at his thoughts about Harris. What he didn’t know was that early copies of her book were then making the rounds among reporters. Having obtained the relevant sections of 107 Days that morning, I asked Shapiro if Harris had given him any heads-up about her book. She had not, he said. Then I told him that Harris had taken some shots at him.

Shapiro furrowed his brow and crossed his arms. “K,” he said.

The man I observed over the next several minutes was unrecognizable. Gone was his equilibrium. He moved between outrage and exasperation as I relayed the excerpts. Harris had accused him, in essence, of measuring the drapes, even inquiring about featuring Pennsylvania artists in the vice-presidential residence; of insisting “that he would want to be in the room for every decision” Harris might make; and, more generally, of hijacking the conversation when she interviewed him for the job, to the point where she reminded him that he would not be co-president.

“She wrote that in her book?” he said in response to the claim concerning the residence’s art. “That’s complete and utter bullshit.”

“I can tell you that her accounts are just blatant lies,” he added.

Which is unsurprising, since YLB refers to The Second Lady only as JD Vance’s Hindu wife.

Last night’s 13 point ➜ Democratic shift in the TN-07 is actually the smallest of all of this year’s special election shifts recorded so far, which have ranged from that +D 13 shift to a +D 23 point shift in FL-01.

For reference, in the 2018 midterms Democrats beat their 2017 special election benchmarks by an average of 11 points. The final result produced an 8 point ➜ Democratic shift from 2016.

However, it’s very important to refrain from applying the full effect of any special election shift to a midterm forecast because of the low and potentially distorted turnouts in specials. Still, even cutting these shift numbers in half may well prove devastating to open swing districts. So it will be very nice if large numbers of New Fascists abandon their swing district seats, as most pundits are now predicting.

“Most pundits” predicted a #CrookedHillary walkover in 2016.

Ann Selzer predicted that Boxcheck Momala would win Iowa. By a lot:

That poll, which projected a 47% to 44% lead for the vice-president over Donald Trump on the back of older women breaking for Democrats over the issue of reproductive rights, came three days before the national vote, giving Democrats false hope that Harris could win the White House decisively. When the votes were counted, Selzer was off by 16 points as the former president won the state decisively.

The important thing is that libbies had a really good time for those three days before the election because of what Selzer told them.

How do you libbies feel now?

Another stake to be driven through the heart of The Religion of EV in little more than an hour:

The White House will announce new fuel economy standards on Wednesday, according to administration sources.

The Trump administration will propose rolling back the standards implemented by former President Joe Biden last year, sources told Reuters. Biden required passenger cars and light trucks to have a fuel efficiency of about 50 mpg by 2031.

President Donald Trump is scheduled to make an announcement at 2:30 p.m. ET from the Oval Office. Executives from Ford, General Motors, and Stellantis are expected to attend the announcement.

OK, I added the Oxford comma at the end.

Not all EV news is bad. For instance, TSLA shares are up 12 bucks so far today.
