Shouldn’t we make alcohol illegal if we’re worried about drunk drivers? I mean, if it’s that big of a deal, why is alcohol legal?
@1 We already tried that and the only thing it accomplished was to make Al Capone rich. Now we’re trying the same thing with recreational drugs and it’s make Mexican cartel killers rich.

Yes, you’re correct – all the current drug laws do is make Mexico’s criminals rich and provide jobs for people who would be enforcers for the mob if we hadn’t invented the DEA.
