    I don’t live in the 8th but if only Sheriff Hairspray had done NOTHING in that community it seems it would be much better off.

    For example the GRK would have been caught much sooner.

    But people get the kind of government they deserve and I don’t live in the 8th.

    Darcy will not back down from her strident perch, even when it’s liberal Ken Schram questioning her embellishments.

    She just doesn’t have what it takes to be successful.

    Darcy blew it with little skill in communication or damage control.

    Darcy needs a job. Her husband needs a job.

    TEHRAN, Iran — Iran’s parliament has impeached the country’s interior minister in a vote widely seen as a defeat for President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

    Parliament’s no-confidence vote for Ali Kordan comes after he admitted he had a fake honorary degree from Oxford University.

    Of the 247 lawmakers attending Tuesday’s open session, 188 voted against Kordan. Forty-five voted in his favor and 14 abstained. The session was broadcast live on state radio.

    The impeachment is the first high-profile political battle between the new parliament and Ahmadinejad.

    Kordan is an ally of Ahmadinejad’s, and the impeachment is seen as a vote of no-confidence for the hard-line president’s administration.

  24. You know it isn’t that Burner is so good. I mean I like her and she’s smart and all but lots of people are like that in the district.

    It’s that Reichert is so freaking BAD…

    I mean the guy is an utter mediocrity. I mean he’s so bad that no Republicans (not even BIAW types) could get behind him for Governor.

    That says too much about his supporters in the 8th.
