Interesting. I went to his “endorsements” page, and found that he claims an endorsement from the Washington Association of Realtors and the Tacoma/Pierce County Association of Realtors.
Since I happen to belong to both of those organizations, and to my knowledge, neither of them have endorsed anyone for the 2008 election.
Our political action people tend to be somewhat right-wing, but they do not like having their endorsement taken for granted. The last person to pull that stunt was Lois McMahan, and it annoyed the political folks so much that they ended up giving the endorsement to a Democrat (Derek Kilmer).
I’ll just have to send off a couple of e-mails to our political folks, mentioning that I saw from Rep Reichert’s web site that we were endorsing him, and that it seems a bit early for us to be endorsing candidates for 2008.
I’m sure that they’ll be interested too.

Reichert not only is dense, but he looks like there’s nothing going on in his head. Emptyheadedness really should not be a qualification for Congress, though the Republicans seem to fawn all over the slow and ineffective.

Arizona Rep. Renzi low on campaign funds
Re-election campaign in debt, FBI investigates link to Abramoff scandal
WASHINGTON – Arizona Rep. Rick Renzi, dogged by legal woes, is running low on campaign cash, giving Democrats more hope that they can win his House seat.
Renzi, whose family business was raided by the FBI last April, ended the last quarter with $20,418 in the bank, according to campaign finance reports covering April 1-June 30. That is just one-quarter of the $80,000 he had on hand at the end of the first three months of the year.
GOP leaders concerned
Of the half-dozen Republican House members under some form of federal scrutiny, party leaders are most concerned about the allegations concerning Renzi and Rep. John Doolittle, their colleagues say.

There are dozens of juicy sex scandals, hundreds of Bush regime lies, at least nine indictments and/or convictions, stolen money, attempts to date young boys, the release of covert agent’s names for political purpose, the list is too long here to print. No doubt, 06 was a bloody year for the traitors on the right and 08 will be worse. Much worse.

RS – Today the Ames Lake HOA decided that the flowers in the culdesac circles should in fact be carnations. Club President Darcy Burner, recently defeated democrat for congress, delivered a brief statement. “Today we made great progess for the Ames Lake HOA and set an example for other HOA’s in keeping with the traditions of our founders…Carnations are a great choice for the Ames Lake HOA and I’m proud to sign this notification to the HOA making it official.”
The DB for Congress campaign had this statement.
“today’s decision and signing show the kind of experience and leadership that the 8th district can expect from Ms Burner if she is ever elected.”
