Congratulations to ActBlue for waiting until after this Democrat POS earned a primary runoff spot before finally cutting her off.

ActBlue cuts off Texas politician Galindo after call to imprison Zionists

Galindo has claimed that Zionists sought to conquer the US using Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the Department of Homeland Security to occupy the country, asserting that the former was trained by the IDF and the latter was based in Israel.

The politician has also claimed that the “billionaire Zionists,” which supposedly orchestrated human trafficking in southern Texas, also controlled her Democratic primary opponent, Bexar County Sheriff’s Deputy Johnny Garcia, and called for him to be put on trial for treason.

And how brave of MSN for leaving out the part about castrating Jews.

    Mmmmmmm. Can we eat that?

Are Americans really feeling worse than ever about their financial well-being? A long-running survey of consumers suggests the answer is yes — drawing a sharp rebuke from President Trump’s right-hand man on the economy.

The University of Michigan’s survey of consumer sentiment sank to 44.8 in May, marking the lowest level in records dating back to 1978, when the university began publishing the index on a monthly basis.

Sentiment was worse in May than any point during the 2020-21 coronavirus pandemic. It was also worse than at any point during the financial crisis of 2008-09. And it was even worse than at any point during the tumultuous period of 1980-82, when the U.S. suffered two recessions, 11% inflation and 18% mortgage rates.

    4. My experience with being an amateur coroner is this:
Unless you have full access to someone’s medical chart and/or in the examining room with the patient, it’s mostly detective work. And sometimes, even that’s not enough. You need information to make a theory and then to prove it.

My father died of a partially dissected aorta, a slow bleed into the chest. I had to extrapolate this with the help of his cardiologist opining that his symptoms of a backache sounded like the aorta theory; same with my cousin, who’s also a cardiologist. How did the aorta become separated? My father rear-ended a van at the gas pumps. No air bag. Refused to be examined at a hospital. Didn’t go to any of his doctors. Kept it a secret from all his children.

Found out about the accident when his traffic offense tickets came in the mail one week after his death.

I inspected his car with an insurance investigator. We found that the brake pedal was very worn at the right lower corner. And we were fortunate that we found a pair of Dad’s shoes in the back seat. The worn part of the brake matched the shoe. Because of the layout of the brake and accelerator pedals, Dad had been driving, using the corner of the brake to stop, not the full pedal. And his foot slipped from the brake to the accelerator, causing his car to heavily bump into the van. And his chest hit the steering column. Being 92 at the time, that was enough to partially dislodge his aorta from his heart.

I didn’t have to know how Dad died, but I wanted to know all the same.

Back to Trump. We’re all speculating and any guess is good as the next. I trust RFK, Jr. will seal his death certificate.

Talarico already won, in a closely divided Democratic primary, more votes than the total of all votes cast between Cornyn and Paxton tonight.

More than 10,000,000 votes were cast in the 2024 November general between Cruz and Allred.

This fall we should expect a 20% drop in turnout. The winner will need to win more than 4,000,000 votes. So the real race has just started. But Talarico is already well ahead coming out of the gate. Especially since I believe most of Crockett’s voters are coming over to Talarico. But I suspect a lot of Cornyn’s voters will not come out for Paxton.

And it isn’t just that stocks are high. They also appear really expensive.
The S&P 500 is clocking a valuation of 40.8, as measured by its cyclically adjusted price/earnings ratio. That’s a metric popularized by Yale University economist Robert Shiller, who won an economics Nobel in 2013 for his work on asset prices.

The problem with that article WRT the Michigan consumer sentiment, YLB, is that it references the year 2000, which you dutifully parroted

The only other time it was above 40 in the 145 years of Shiller’s data was in the years just before and after the peak of the dot-com bubble in early 2000.

Things are different now, YLB, and the correlation with 2000 is a silly one. Why is that? Why, YLB, it’s in your link:

The year 2000 was also when the Michigan sentiment index reached all-time highs. It has never approached even close to those levels since then.

Today consumer sentiment is at an all-time low, yet for some reason you want to compare PE ratios to a time when consumer sentiment was at an all-time high.

For the record, when most people speak of the PE they speak of either TTM (earnings known) or FTM (earnings predicted). Right now the TTM S&P 500 PE is 26.47. That’s higher than typical, but it’s supported by earnings estimates going forward. The FTM S&P 500 PE is only 21.81. To me that means predicted earnings growth is around 21%.

That kind of earnings growth is worth paying more to acquire, and so the market does.

YLB, I know you don’t understand any of this. The reason I wrote the above is so that everyone else will know you don’t understand any of this.

NNSA Removes Highly Enriched Uranium from Venezuela, Reducing Risk to South America and the U.S. Homeland
The safe removal of all enriched uranium from Venezuela sends another signal to the world of a restored and renewed Venezuela. Thanks to President Trump’s decisive leadership, the teams finished in months what would have normally taken years.

To secure this surplus material, the DNN team and technical experts from the Venezuelan Institute for Scientific Research safely removed 13.5 kilograms (about 30 pounds) of uranium from the RV-1 reactor less than six weeks after their initial site visit. Working in close cooperation with the IAEA throughout, the team securely packaged the uranium into a spent fuel cask.

The group then escorted the material 100 miles overland to a Venezuelan port. There, they transferred the cargo to a specialized carrier supplied by the U.K.’s Nuclear Transport Solutions. The vessel carried the material to the United States arriving on U.S. shores in early May. Upon arrival, U.S. teams unloaded the casks and transported them to the Savannah River Site (SRS) for processing and reuse.

The Texas beef cattle herd could be on its way to a rebuild after hitting its lowest numbers in a decade, according to Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service experts.

From 2010 to 2014, the Texas herd shrunk from 5.14 million to 3.9 million, a 24% decline, Anderson said. There were 4.65 million beef cows in 2019, but those numbers have fallen 12% since due to the drought’s impact on forage production in back-to-back years.

It means fuel used to produce sources for nuclear medicine.

When a country like Venezuela (or Iran) is placed under sanctions by consortia nations controlled by the U.S. because of political disagreements they often have their supply of Mo-99 radioisotope targets cut off. That eliminates their ability to do common medical diagnostics and treatments that rely on those targets like PET scans, radiation treatments, etc. So they either produce their own or obtain other sources to be able to treat patients.

PET radionuclides are produced in cyclotrons. They have very short half-lives and need to be moved from production to imaging very quickly, usually within a few hours. Molybdenum generators are not used for PET imaging.

Most radiation therapy is administered with linear accelerators, which produce ionizing radiation only when they are turned on. Molybdenum generators are not used for radiation therapy.

Molybdenum generators are used in medical imaging because a byproduct of their decay is Technetium-99m, which is used for nuclear scintigraphy by bonding it to tracers that accumulate in specific locations in the body – bone, lung, etc. The 99m-Tc decay rate is fast enough and the energy emitted is low enough that it would be impractical to try to create anything destructive with it.

Other than being incorrect about everything he wrote, Elijah is spot-on.

I’ve read it three times and I can’t make much sense out of the spew at 35. Other than it seems like a weird non-sequitur effort to change the subject to a Clinton, I guess.

Regardless, the plain fact is that consumer sentiment and voter confidence in the economy has cratered since the pandemic and is not recovering. The lying troll had no problem pounding away on that during the Biden administration despite Biden posting unprecedented job growth and the fastest economic recovery of all developed nations. It wasn’t enough then. It won’t be enough now.

But it certainly won’t be enough if the idiots that the lying troll still votes for because his cult orders him to can’t bring an end to their Israeli Sport War against Iran. Average gas prices this summer will move past $5, and Texans will be paying $20/lb for beef. And those mfers do not know how to grill fish at all, even if they could find any in the “Gulf of America” that don’t have tumors that look like Danny DeVito.

All the powerful old Boomer incumbents with name recognition are being sent to the dugout before the stretch. And voters are looking for some payback while the lying troll and his profoundly stupid MAGA cult are standing out loud and proud shrieking “BRING IT!!!!!”

    How precious.

    48,
Nice technical dissertation for anyone who cares (which most of us probably do not).

Doesn’t actually address the issue though does it?
“Molybdenum generators are used in medical imaging”
And where do Mo generators come from?

Sanctioned countries need HEU – note: HEU is not “weapons grade”. We just “secured” Venezueala’s HEU because we also agreed to remove the relevant sanctions allowing them to continue to practice nuclear medicine without it.

He’s lying about this just exactly the way Israel is lying about Iran.

Nuclear weapons produce damage in two ways:

    1. The mushroom cloud and the big blast causing instant destruction and death within a certain radius of the explosion.

    2. Longer-term damage from fallout, which affects far larger areas, including at substantial distance from Ground Zero, and for a much longer period of time.

The fallout risk from nuclides that go boom is because of very long half-lives (other than radioiodine) of the decay products and the atomic composition allowing them to accumulate in specific areas of the body, where they remain rather than being flushed out. Think radium and bone cancers or bone necrosis. The exception is radioiodine, which is far a shorter half-life (varies depending on the specific isotope) but does damage because it accumulates in the thyroid gland. This is why iodine tablets can be important in the days following a nuclear accident or intended explosion; the tablet iodine competes with the radioiodine for incorporation into thyroid tissue.

In medical imaging, the isotopes used have short half-lives and/or are quickly cleared by the body, which limits radiation dose to the patient. Isotopes used for medical imaging are not a national security threat the way isotopes used for energy generation are. Elijah.

The other day, teh kreepfuck blamed Americans being in such crushing debt and predatory lending on Bill Clinton and public school teachers (huh?)..

So what was the repuke solution to these depredations by Democrats?

A relentless campaign to destroy the CFPB.

Btw, thank you kreepfuck for crediting America’s public school K-12 teachers for..

“sharpening the intelligence” of America’s children

Same as you credited steadily expiring repukes for making life better for my two sons.

Isotopes used for medical imaging are not a national security threat the way isotopes used for energy generation are.

Notice he declined to answer the question about where M0-99 (moly cows) are made?

Moly Cows are made through exposure of HEU targets to fission products of HEU-235 in a reactor.

If we embargo the supply of moly cows to a country they have to build and support their own reactors fueled with HEU-235 in order to supply their own moly cows.

Moly cows can be produced from low enriched targets. But the production still takes place in a reactor fueled with HEU. So you need HEU to produce moly cows, even if you use LEU targets.

He’s still lying. Again. And again. And again.

Too funny how kreepfuck gloated over Israel “cutting the heads off of snakes” in Lebanon aka Hezbollah

No doubt that beeper op was bold.. very clever of Mossad..

    And totally feckless..

In recent weeks, Hezbollah has boasted that it is using new fiber-optic drones that Israeli troops have struggled to intercept, hitting both Israeli forces and northern Israeli villages.

Israel has told people there not to gather in large numbers.

“What this requires of us now is to increase the blows, to increase the intensity. We will smite them hip and thigh,” Netanyahu said.

It’s a fucking mess and will end so badly.
