    At this point in time, when our democratic institutions are under as much pressure as they have ever been, when are society is as divided as it has ever been, those of us who choose to align themselves with Republicans, the party that is openly protecting pedophilia (the worst thing human beings can do to other human beings), and who are openly building support behind unchecked authoritarianism, are making such a choice. And that choice they are making defines their character.

    The U.S. just announced first ever sanctions against Rosneft and Lukoil, which account for about 20% of Russian GDP. The Gripen agreement along with the sanctions and the recent losses of refining and delivery infrastructure means that Putler’s future designs on Ukrainian territory are disappearing, even as he is being slowly squeezed into retreating.

    It’s not a stalemate. And the tide has not yet turned in Ukraine’s favor. But Russia is running out of runway and they haven’t yet hit takeoff speed in seizing all of Eastern Ukraine including Donbas.

    The Cattle Ranchers, who I love, don’t understand that the only reason they are doing so well, for the first time in decades, is because I put Tariffs on cattle coming into the United States, including a 50% Tariff on Brazil. If it weren’t for me, they would be doing just as they’ve done for the past 20 years — Terrible! It would be nice if they would understand that, but they also have to get their prices down, because the consumer is a very big factor in my thinking, also!

    — Recruits “are supposed to attest” they can pass the physical-fitness test, which requires them to run … 6 mph.

    True story. I was in a suburban multistory lot a few years ago early morning. So early and empty the 5MPH radar was picking me up on foot. I was speeding and it was blinking 6MPH. Walking…albeit down a slight grade. Took video I thought it was so funny.
