    If you thought DeSantis requiring teaching that the enslaved could “parlay” skills learned was bad. You ain’t seen nothing yet.

    Educators are required to teach that George Washington was a “key figure in the quest to end slavery.”
    Let’s be clear, Washington never introduced legislation, an executive order, or a handwritten note seeking to abolish slavery. He stated that whipping was “very proper.” He died owning 317 enslaved people.

    Educators are also required to teach “but Black people owned slaves too.” Census records show the majority of Black owners of enslaved were situations like the husband purchased the wife, or vice versa … The enslaved of Black people were the children of a free father who had found and purchased his wife back and the children were listed as enslaved on the census.

    The greedy racist incel claims the president has a drop of shame. For spreading the lies about slavery, every republican in Florida combined, doesn’t have that much shame.
