Forgive me for wondering if there is a grand jury indictment. Given that a federal magistrate wouldn’t approve this, it’s not totally unreasonable to suspect a grand jury didn’t either.
We’ll see how long before these are sidelined. Besides the road test under local conditions, the delivery alone racks up a lot miles if it’s Gillig. The factory is about 1000 miles from Seattle, and they drive them up here. About the only condition they don’t face are passengers. New Flyer ships battery buses from plants in St Coud and Anniston via semi trailer. Probably learned from delivery of CNG Buses. When I was attending EWU, saw a couple New Flyer CNG buses in Pierce Transit colors headed west. Was thinking, definitely a delivery, as Sunset Hill is pretty far away from Tacoma for a regular scheduled trip.
