You should have received your ballot. Go make sure you have it. If you haven’t got it yet, go ahead and contact your county elections office.
And, hey. Wash your hands right now and get vaccinated or boosted if you’re eligible.

Ah, yes…here we are amid the sleepy dog days of summer when not much is happening. Somehow, we’ll find stuff to talk about tonight when the Seattle Chapter of Drinking Liberally gets together for conversations and drinks. Please stop by, if you can.
We meet tonight and every Tuesday at the Roanoke Park Place Tavern, 2409 10th Ave E, Seattle. You’ll find us on the back patio. We start at 8:00pm.
Chapters of Living Liberally are all over the place…if you can’t make it to the Seattle chapter, stop by another chapter near you.

Man big political news: Washington’s primary ballot dropped this week. You should have it in your hands this week. If you’re paying attention, you probably know how you’re voting on some big ticket races. But what about further down the ballot? Good news! Other people have put in the work.
– Fuse does great work statewide.
– The Stranger has Seattle area endorsements.
– The Sierra Club has endorsements for environmentally minded people.
If you have any other voters guides, feel free to leave them in the comments. And while you’re waiting for that ballot, maybe go wash your hands. And get vaccinated or boosted if you’re eligible.

Gosh. I have to be at work soon. I hope Microsoft resolves whatever this is before I get there. Really seems like a pain. Being several hours behind, if this is resolved, us Best Coast folks won’t lose half of the day???
Anyway, please wash your hands right now and get vaccinated or boosted if you’re eligible.

Man what the fuck? Adrian Diaz threatened to sue Publicola. Absolutely disgusting. Diaz, stop being a jerk on top of, allegedly, the sexual harrassment and discrimination. Anyway, I’m glad it was resolved, but if you can throw some dosh over there, now would be a good time.

– Seattle isn’t the only place that can’t deal with homelessness in anything approaching decency. So congratulations to Lacey on winning your court case that allows cruelty to the least of us.
– Don’t worry, Seattle you aren’t just catching strays.
– Also, Seattle, throw the book at the officer who laughed at Jaahnavi Kandula’s death.
– Is this too Seattle based? Here’s the info on the transportation levy.
– Anyway, please wash your hands right now and get vaccinated or boosted if you’re eligible.

So excited to see signs of the extended 1 Line popping up when I take light rail. Sorry I don’t know how to show a Bluesky post, but I was excited first about new maps and now the electronic signs being updated. It’s so cool to see my region doing this cool thing.
Anyway please wash your hands right now and get vaccinated or boosted if you’re eligible.
