But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.

Seattle, we have to figure out how to line up for the bus. A bus comes to the crowded stop and there’s a scrum for the door. And it more or less works out until some asshole comes in from the side and they’re always let in.
I don’t know how we fix that. Maybe just social stigma.

I’m glad to see the opening of the all women tiny house village in the city. It will be a much better place for the residents than on the street. Longer term we need a lot more housing and more programs to get people off the street.

I hope that the next Supreme Court nominee gets questioned about how racist Donald Trump is. It seems to me that only 5 people think Donald Trump’s Muslim ban might not have been a Muslim ban. Unfortunately, they made up a bare minimum of the Court majority. How we figure out how racist Donald Trump is going forward will determine how many acts of collective punishment the United States takes under his Presidency.

This administration is still depressing as all hell. But! For the first time in a long time, I see maybe something. Being with 10000 people who oppose kidnapping children. I would probably feel better if my country wasn’t stealing children from their families, but I saw a little something.

1 Kings 11:1-3
King Solomon, however, loved many foreign women besides Pharaoh’s daughter—Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Sidonians and Hittites. They were from nations about which the LORD had told the Israelites, “You must not intermarry with them, because they will surely turn your hearts after their gods.” Nevertheless, Solomon held fast to them in love. He had seven hundred wives of royal birth and three hundred concubines, and his wives led him astray.

Since China has stopped taking our filthy recycling, can we all try to be better at recycling? Like, your congealed orange juice doesn’t belong in the recycling bin just because it’s in a plastic bottle. I will try to get better at keeping my recyclables dry.
