So, wildfire season has started in Washington. I had been enjoying the weather, but of course there’s a downside. Get ready for smokey days.

Hard to overstate how much Virginia’s insanity, led by Democrat Louise Lucas, pushed multiple red states to redistrict. The Callais decision from SCOTUS was obviously important, but by itself it wouldn’t have led to TN or AL redistricting. The insanely corrupt Democrat overreach

Going on the Fox to argue for making poor people’s lives harder,

Before, if you had jerky hanging there, that counted for a protein. But no more. So we’re moving the people off of SNAP that shouldn’t be on. No more soda. No more junk food.”

We’ll start with meat is protein. Granted, per oz chicken, pork, and tuna deliver more but beef comes in at #4 in protein packed food choices. Jerky is a big deal in the KETO diet set so much that MAHA freaks will regularly tell you which new viral marketing brands have the lowest sugar and highest macros.

And who might need a shelf stable, transportable protein source. Maybe people without stable housing? Someone lacking refrigeration?

But to MENSA Rollins here those people should be grabbing some raw pork (“Can you believe these food stamp people can buy steak”) and find a way to cook it and eat it all before it gets toxic. What’s a daily trip to the store if you’re poor?

I think there should be a rule that voting not be a secret, and that once you cast your ballot that it should be made public knowledge.

And then afterwards, when the party/person elected, that you voted for, does something you don’t like or you disagree with then you have no recourse but to be told, “too bad, next time know who and what you are voting for, and whatever it is you are asking for as recourse then that is too bad… denied”

Depends how you define “cost”. You might end up living in a world that leaves you with a dictatorship and Fascist society that effects you as well, and maybe the cost will effect you too. And if it effects you in an ill will then we will clap.

Like you bought solar for a reason. I assume maybe it had something to do with keeping the planet livable and healthy. No? Was it for fun, like planting a tree? Well, good luck with keeping the planet healthy.

“Republicans right now have no accomplishments, no plans, and no vision. Why on earth would anyone be excited to go vote for them 12 months right now?

Newly minted college grads can’t find work and are saddled with debt. Where is their path to the American dream right now? Who is giving them a vision of a future worth fighting for?

You cannot have a viable country or future when half your country and all its young people are locked out of the economy and locked out of ever owning a home or much of anything beyond next month’s streaming subscription.

Does anyone in Washington care about this? Anyone at all?

Republicans had better wake up, because right now their nightmare is only beginning if they don’t start making massive changes.”

This is from the guy who created the “Black Crime” news aggregation tag on The Federalist for lazy racists. And that was from six months ago. Since then Republicans have publicly executed a mom and a nurse, opened a dozen torture facilities, shut down the government for a month, started a forever war that has wiped out most of our defense weapons stockpiles, and driven gas prices towards $6 a gallon.

Term limits for the inside traders would do a lot to correct the problem of lawmakers enriching themselves on non-public information. Term limits might also be beneficial to limit the pedophiles having influence in government. If the inside traders are banned from being there decades and decades, the billionaire pedophiles would have less time to buy the politicians, and they’d have to re-purchase often. That might make buying influence really expensive and more cumbersome.

I tried for 15 seconds and found a recall of nearly 10x as many Ford F-150s because the wheel might fall off:

More than 1,500 2022 Ford F-150 Raptors have been recalled for a problem with their lug nut torque that could result in their wheels falling off, posing the risk of a crash.

Is the joke to you that it’s a Cybertruck, or that in worst case people who bought Teslas might die due to a defect? And why is it funny because it’s Tesla but not funny when nearly 10x as many Ford truck owners might die due to a defect that could have the same outcome?

Liberal-leaning publications are no longer able to act like things in California are normal.

The two most consequential races in California have devolved into twin spectacles, with years of visible dysfunction hollowing out Democrats’ case for competent leadership.

Why it matters: California is the ultimate paradox of Democratic rule. A state of immense wealth, innovation and cultural power is increasingly unable to deliver the basics of housing, public safety and disaster response.

The big picture: Those failures have been building for years.

But COVID and last year’s catastrophic fires have transformed long-simmering frustration with California governance into a visceral public indictment of the people running the state — one now playing out in the races for governor and Los Angeles mayor.

AHAHHAHAAHAHHA, oh Scooter Mcdotcum, you really are a twenty something you? You act as if owning a Cybertruck would be some sort of insult…LMFAO. Pro-tip: Its not. I just dont own one – big deal.
And my “defense” of Tesla wasn’t a defense at all – it was merely pointing out how fucking idiotic your whole meme about “recalls” was. Scale of numbers is something you do not understand.
Your one of these guys who likes to post shit, but as soon as you get called out, your arguments get thin and one-dimensional. You are an un-funny shitposter with no meat behind the posts. Life experience might help, but you got a ways to go.
Now get on that Lime scooter and go enjoy the evening – outside of mom’s basement if possible.

Vicious Troll: RAM’s have certainly been solid, but from what I hear the new 6.7L ones like to break crankshafts with alarming regularity – I think the main cause is bad harmonic balancers from what I read. Also heard that they arent kind to camshafts either??

HA Commenting Policy

It may be hard to believe from the vile nature of the threads, but yes, we have a commenting policy. Comments containing libel, copyright violations, spam, blatant sock puppetry, and deliberate off-topic trolling are all strictly prohibited, and may be deleted on an entirely arbitrary, sporadic, and selective basis. And repeat offenders may be banned! This is my blog. Life isn’t fair.
