  2. Bringing this service back that was canceled in 2011 by a previous Ontario Liberal Government was a promise of t(e Ontario PCs since 2018. The revival of the Northlander is finally happening, although I am sure some will complain why the train sets are made in California and not Canada, but with Siemens pretty much the only North American spec Intercity Train builder, it’s the only choice.(I want a market where there is a competitor so we can have a more rigorous bid process) The Northlander will be having a first, first time new rolling stock will be used. The original one was a series of hand me downs, older used North American coaches, then a used TranscEirope Express set from Holland, and when it was cancelled, used coaches from GO Transit(another Ontario Crown Corporation) in Toronto.

    The concept for some of the intermediate stops looks interesting, if there is no older station available, don’t build a grand new station. Can always upgrade a simpler one later if ridership picks up. This design might be great for infill stations on the Empire Builder, and SOUNDER.

    CBP has no legal authorization and absolutely no statutory authority whatsoever to remove or even handle any evidence that is or may be part of a criminal investigation of the homicide of a U.S. citizen.
