  3. Yeah man, like if weed were legal or whatever, it would cure all our problems. No more crime, no more drug cartels, nothing. Money would like flow into the government from drug sales and then we could build new hospitals and stuff. People are so ignorant about drugs. Drugs are the answer, man. The only reason there are wars and stuff is cuz drugs are illegal. It’s all a big plot by big pharma. Look it up.

  4. Can you imagine the negative impact this would have if released to the public? The image of a magic drug, intoxicating masses of people and resulting in a dark war is hardly the way to convince folks that MJ is harmless.

    I can just see the “fun” O’Reilly or Beck would have with this!

    Sadly, I think stuff like this also suggests that people like Lee have been harmed by overuse of a drug.

    The shtick reminds me of a piece of Christian propaganda bemoaning how much better off we would all be if we accepted Jesus as a our savior. “I believe in gOD, JESUS, AND THE MAGICAL HERB?”

    President Obama signed legislation Thursday that funds additional work to strengthen the damaged Howard Hanson Dam and protect low-lying parts of Auburn, Kent, Renton and Tukwila.

    The emergency supplemental appropriations bill contains $44 million for interim work on the earthen flood-control dam, whose right abutment was weakened by storms in January 2009.

    Sen. Patty Murray, Army Corps of Engineers Seattle District commander Col. Anthony Wright and local officials scheduled a Friday afternoon news conference to discuss plans for interim repairs.

    The Democratic chairman of the four-member panel that spent nearly two years investigating the conduct of Rep. Charles Rangel, D-N.Y., said today that his committee recommended a reprimand as punishment.

    Well not Rep. John Yarmuth.

    Meanwhile, a Kentucky Democrat, Rep. John Yarmuth, became the latest member of Congress to call on Rangel to resign.

  9. Senatorial hopeful Didier in a recent speach:

    “”When I get to D.C., there is going to be no reaching across the aisle shaking hands and making friends. I’m going back to pick a fight,” he said. “There is going to be hell to pay and I’m taking the heat back with me.”

    The Constitution is his “game plan.” He wants the federal government stripped of agencies not created with the birth of this country, starting with the departments of education and energy.”

    Well, at least he might not be so hypocritical as the current members of the Senate, who consistently vote on party lines to block all legislation, refuse any attempts at compromise, and then criticize Obama for not being bi-partison enough.

    But you’ve got to wonder about that comment regarding “agencies not created with the birth of this country”. The country was “born” on 1776 with the Declaration of Independence. There were no agencies in existence then, and if my memory serves me correct, there were none in existence when the U.S. Constitution was ratified. Government agencies are creations of Congress.
