So, if you follow me on Bluesky, you may know that someone threw up on me on the 1 Line the other day. Not the most pleasant experience, but I was standing up and the people near me, sitting down got it much worse. Yuck, but!

Also quite a community Light Rail has. Within a second, people were reaching into their bags getting napkins and wipes and hand sanitizer. The guy who threw up ran out at the next stop, but there was real sympathy for him. A bunch of people jamed on the bus during rush hour looked after each other, felt sympathy, and even joked around. Too bad it took that to make it happen.

I don’t think we as a state are prepared for the level of bullshit Brian Heywood’s initiatives are going to bring down on the state. Brian Heywood thinks he can replace the niche Tim Eyman left. I was aware of the economic damage if his tax initiatives pass. But I guess I missed how much Brian Heywood wants the police to hit people during unnecessary high speed chases.
