This administration is still depressing as all hell. But! For the first time in a long time, I see maybe something. Being with 10000 people who oppose kidnapping children. I would probably feel better if my country wasn’t stealing children from their families, but I saw a little something.
HA Bible Study: 1 Kings 11:1-3
1 Kings 11:1-3
King Solomon, however, loved many foreign women besides Pharaoh’s daughter—Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Sidonians and Hittites. They were from nations about which the LORD had told the Israelites, “You must not intermarry with them, because they will surely turn your hearts after their gods.” Nevertheless, Solomon held fast to them in love. He had seven hundred wives of royal birth and three hundred concubines, and his wives led him astray.

HA Bible Study: Deuteronomy 22:23-24
Deuteronomy 22:23-24
If a man happens to meet in a town a virgin pledged to be married and he sleeps with her, you shall take both of them to the gate of that town and stone them to death—the young woman because she was in a town and did not scream for help, and the man because he violated another man’s wife. You must purge the evil from among you.

I don’t know how America recovers from the Trump era. Impeaching him isn’t going to be enough. Even if everyone in the administration goes to jail for war crimes and crimes against humanity, I don’t know that it would be enough.

I hope that y’all can make it to the protest of Trump’s immigration policies. Of the separation of families. Of the denial of refugees rights. This is America, but it doesn’t have to be. You can find info on the Seattle protest here. Or other locations here. Move On will ask for your info, and give it to them or not, you can still go to the protest.

I dig the hell out of Seattle on a day like today, and the whole weekend. Being so far North, the sun is out forever. It’s too hot but not tooooo hot. I went on a couple nice walks.
It’s too bad that the republic is dying, sure. But at least Mertle Edwards park is amazing.
HA Bible Study: Job 1
Job 1
Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them. And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?
Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?
Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.
But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.
And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD.
