The caucus images were great. It looks as if the caucuses weren’t much different in Seattle than they were in Gig Harbor. Crowded, a bit chaotic and great fun.
It also appears that the same sort of “I prefer (fill in your favorite here), but both candidates are great, and either will be vastly better than Senator McCain” comments were made all over. (I enjoyed Mike’s video, but for the vast majority of us, it was a pretty friendly debate.)
Now we’re on to the primaries. Even though they won’t select any delegates, we should be encouraging folks to participate. Don’t underestimate the influence they will have, especially on those superdelegates. “Bragging rights” are also important, especially when it comes to fundraising.
Different topic. Hopefully someone around here is following “Non Sequiter” in the comics. We need to make sure that Goldy gets a copy of today’s strip. Perhaps we should also mail copies of the strip to KIRO. Internet petitions are fine, but big companies pay much more attention to anything mailed. It shows that people cared enough to actually spend a stamp and walk to the mailbox.
You know Goldy, you’ve obviously got talents and skills that are marketable. Why don’t you just get a regular job like the rest of us?

Looks like another right wing hero has shown what the GOP is all about.
5 – That article refers to Bernie Ward who in another life worked for Barbara Boxer. He was one of the best liberal talk show hosts in the country.
Many people might not remember this but Ward did a three hour show on KIRO for about a year on Sunday nights – a remote feed from the Bay area. I clearly remember him talking about the Bush 2000 campaign and he called him “an empty suit” long before the rest of the media caught on.
After Ward’s contract ran out, he was eventually replaced by the awful right wing idiot, Brian Maloney aka “Brainless Baloney”. That was KIRO getting with the spirit of the times, I guess. Just like right now it’s all about cutting payroll in the face of competition from internet advertising and a looming recession.
From what little I’ve seen of this case, the charges are 3 years old and no child pornography was found on any confiscated computer Ward used.
That leaves the questions of where he got the pictures he sent to the dominatrix and why was he doing what he was doing.
He’s got a lot of ‘splainin to do and what I’ve heard so far seems pretty far-fetched.
And before the wingnuts start to toss, yes, if someone breaks the law or hurts little kids, no matter what their politics – they should face the music.
