    Speaking of D’Souza:

D’SOUZA: These are warriors. And we have to realize that the principles of our way of life are in conflict with people in the world. And so — I mean, I’m all for understanding the sociological causes of this, but we should not blame the victim. Americans shouldn’t blame themselves because other people want to bomb them.

MAHER: But also, we should — we have been the cowards lobbing cruise missiles from 2,000 miles away. That’s cowardly. Staying in the airplane when it hits the building, say what you want about it, it’s not cowardly. You’re right.

And that’s how Maher lost his ABC gig.

There was a time, once, when college meant something.

    Q. You are focused on inequality among the so-called “99 percent,” not between the 1 percent and the 99 percent. Why?
    A. There’s a real national debate about the significance and causes of inequality. This public debate is dominated by the discussion of the top 1 percent. And the top 1 percent is important, but focusing on the top 1 percent conveys the message that the game is all rigged, that if you’re not in the elite stratum, there’s nothing to shoot for. And that’s just not the case. The growth of skill differentials among the other 99 percent is arguably even more consequential than the rise of the 1 percent for the welfare of most citizens.
Here’s a concrete way to see it: The earnings gap between the median college-educated two-income family and the median high school-educated two-income family rose by $28,000 between 1979 and 2012. This [shift] — which excludes the top 1 percent, since we’re focusing on medians — is four times as large as the redistribution that has taken place from the bottom 99 percent to the top 1 percent of households in the same period.

    http://newsoffice.mit.edu/2014.....rcent-0522

    Less so today, apparently.

    Also, this:

    Q. What policies can combat inequality?
    A. In the long run, the best policies we have involve investing in our citizenry. … Higher education, and public education, is America’s best idea. Our decision to send our entire public through high school over the first 30 years of the 20th century was probably the single most important factor in U.S. economic predominance for that century. Those investments [include] preschool, good primary and secondary schools, [and] adequate nutrition and health care.

Six people were killed and seven were wounded by a drive-by shooter who, firing a handgun at pedestrians from a BMW, appeared to target women near the University of California – Santa Barbara campus last night. The shooter was found dead later after a firefight with police.

The shooter was a young man who apparently was angry that girls had rejected him. Before the shootings, he had posted a You Tube video vowing “retribution” against women.

How Did This Crazy Kid Get A Gun?

“Late Saturday, CBS affiliate KEYT obtained what it said was Elliot Rodger’s 141-page manifesto, called ‘My Twisted World.’ It says, ‘This is the story of my entire life. It is a dark story of sadness, anger and hatred.’ On Saturday, a family attorney said Elliot Rodger’s parents long had concerns about their son’s mental health. ‘He had multiple, and I’m telling you multiple, therapists,’ Alan Shifman said. ‘He had a social worker who as recently as last week was concerned and who’s the one that actually called the police.’ … Shifman told reporters that the shooter’s family alerted authorities after Elliot Rodger posted a series of disturbing, ranting messages on YouTube.”

    http://www.cbsnews.com/news/el.....filmmaker/

Roger Rabbit Commentary: So here you have someone who’s clearly mentally ill, whose own family warned police about him, who gets a gun and shoots 13 strangers with it. Where and how did he get that gun?

Is this just another shooting tragedy, or is it a political issue? Do you even need to ask? You bet your ass it’s a political issue, because Republicans not only oppose, but overtly obstruct, any and all proposals to limit the access of potentially dangerous people to guns even a tiny bit.

And that sucks! Innocent people are dying by the dozens because anyone can get a gun without difficulty in this country, and that’s just not right. The Republican position on gun control SUCKS! Whose kids will be the next do die because of their stupid intransigence on reasonable measures to limit access to guns by people who plainly and obviously should not have guns? Yours?

16 Year Old Shoots Cab Driver

“A 16-year-old who believed he was being ripped off shot and killed a northeastern Pennsylvania cab driver who refused to take his shortcuts, police said. Aazis Richardson was charged with murder Friday night, hours after police said he shot 47-year-old Vincent Darbenzio twice in the head. … ‘Richardson said he got upset because the cab driver was taking the long way and ripping him off,’ police wrote in a criminal complaint …. The complaint said Richardson told investigators the driver kept taking a longer route even after being told shortcuts.”

    http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireS.....e-23853688

Roger Rabbit Commentary: How did a 16-year-old kid get a handgun? Gun laws are too lax in this country, and too many guns end up in the wrong hands. Voters need to stop electing Republicans who oppose reasonable gun controls.

Although his family knew that he was mentally unstable and actually asked the police to check on him a month ago (probably hoping that they’d bring him in for treatment), Rodger got guns because he legally registered to buy the guns. He could register because he’d never been in a mental hospital. Having actually been institutionalized is the only way mentally-ill people can be denied guns. It’s very likely that a very small minority of mentally-ill people have actually been institutionalized.

Mark O’Mara, the defense attorney who helped George Zimmerman beat a murder rap for the Trayvon Martin shooting, says enough is enough. In an opinion piece for CNN published Saturday night, he argues for “reasonable restrictions to assure that only law-abiding citizens can purchase firearms” and says “the failure of gun rights advocates to allow any reasonable flexibility to our right to bear arms” could mean the Second Amendment “will eventually buckle under the weight of thoughtful opposition [to gun rights] propelled to action by the next series of tragic and, unfortunately, inevitable mass shootings.”

    http://www.cnn.com/2014/05/02/.....?hpt=hp_t2

Roger Rabbit Commentary: It’s inexplicable that gun advocates dig in their heels against such mild measures as trigger locks, universal background checks, and restrictions on high-capacity magazines. Their heartless response to tragedies like the Newtown massacre and antics such as flaunting guns in public places has earned them the sobriquet of “gun nuts.” O’Mara essentially is warning the NRA and other gun supporters that their obstinate stonewalling of any gun regulation whatsoever leaves a citizenry increasingly tired of mass slaughter and mayhem with no alternative to amending or repealing the Second Amendment right to bear arms — and that sufficient support for that could happen if gun nuts continue to impress the rest of the country that they’re a bunch of loonies. They would be well advised to listen.

How Did This Crazy Kid Get A Gun?

Wow IDIOT Wabbit… you have no clue? Probably the criminal element Puddy suggests. You can buy any gun from the criminal element, especially with his father’s money he probably flashed around. It’s all over the European stations about this moron and how he knifed and mowed down innocents.

Well since his parents are anti-gun… that means he’s probably 99.99% from a libard household. Being a libard does beget crazy children. Think Jesse Jackson Jr. Think Bernie Madoff’s son. This moron thought he was owed sex from women. This moron thought women should be groveling at his feet because he drove fancy cars. Typical libtard who thinks it’s due him because that’s the environment he was raised… ENTITLEMENT mentality. A link from a real newspaper http://nypost.com/2014/05/24/d.....a-barbara/

So sad libtards think they are entitled to everything including a woman’s pussy. Just like a libtard… owed sex because hey, I’m a rich libtard driving fancy cars!

But reading this caused Puddy to think about her comment…

“It’s hard thinking my actions, being part of a sorority, led him to do this,” she said. “When I saw that video I was shaking and crying.”

When Puddy was at his university and also the Puddymen (sons) at theirs; they said something similar… sorority women tend to look down their noses at the “plebes” (what you are at West Point the first year), those not a member of a fraternity, or part of the in crowd. While she is rethinking her past anti-friendly actions toward the nerdy men she may have crossed paths with in her college years, this libtard bred moron’s actions were totally and absolutely wrong.

Then there is this moronic comment from the IDIOT Wabbit

You bet your ass it’s a political issue, because Republicans not only oppose, but overtly obstruct, any and all proposals to limit the access of potentially dangerous people to guns even a tiny bit.

IDIOT Wabbit, taking guns from the law abiding citizenry would not have deterred this punk. As Puddy wrote above…”You can buy any gun from the criminal element, especially with his father’s money he probably flashed around.”

SO IDIOT Wabbit, let’s say you take all the guns from the law abiding citizenry like they did in Australia… Then what happens IDIOT Wabbit? A field day for the criminals who still have their guns.

How do you take away the criminal guns? Tell us since you have the “answer”!

Maybe libtards should teach their spawn some new thoughts instead of being entitled to everything, eh?

California law imposes a 10-day waiting period before a firearm can be released to a purchaser or transferee. A person must be at least 18 years of age to purchase a rifle or shotgun. To purchase a handgun, a person must be at least 21 years of age. As part of the DROS process, the purchaser must present “clear evidence of identity and age” which is defined as a valid, non-expired California Driver’s License or Identification Card issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). A military identification accompanied by permanent duty station orders indicating a posting in California is also acceptable.

So he passed a background check. Was that the gun he used on the BC documents?

He was left mentally deficient by libtard parents. He was clueless on how to date and dealing with the fairer sex. With his director dad making movies he probably raised himself. His libtard parents pushed the ENTITLEMENT society (go get it free) which you so blithely skipped over. Yet he thought pussy was free! It’s not really free? Dayum only the jocks and the kool crowd get it free. Wait, I was told in school it’s a level playing field. You mean real life is different? Libtards think they are entitled to EVERYTHING. And we see how libtards snap when they realize the lies they were taught from birth are not true.

Why do your kind push ENTITLEMENT thoughts to young kids?

At this point, it’s almost as if Republicans have given up making excuses for their own behavior. They’ve sought to restrict a summer food aid program for children to rural areas only, at the exclusion of urban areas (read: “letting poor white kids continue to get summer food help while putting the screws to black and brown children”) and don’t even have a ready-made policy excuse as to why. That’s just the intent of the program, with no other explanation needed. It appears that House Republicans have completely bought into Rep. Paul Ryan’s racist dog whistle about how men in inner cities “aren’t even thinking of working” and have decided to withhold food aid to children to teach those inner-city men about the value of work. Because after all, there’s no better way to teach historically disadvantaged people the value of work than to starve their kids.

Five dirty secrets of the American economy:

Number one. The biggest falsehood of all? That fixing it is something like teleporting to Jupiter: impossible! Beyond us! Science fiction!.. It’s not even that difficult. It’s straightforward; about as complicated as tying your shoelaces if you’re wearing Velcro sneakers…

Dirty secret number two: This is a bogus recovery—and it’s going to poison society, unless we are wise enough to recover from the recovery. The rich are getting vastly richer, to the point that it’s absurd that anyone should be so rich. But the average household is getting poorer; and the poor are getting trampled…

Where will the money come from? Dirty secret number three: It doesn’t matter. Print it. Borrow it. Tax it from the super-rich, in whose coffers it’s merely sitting idly. It does not matter one bit. It’s a second order question.

Here’s dirty secret number four. The pundits don’t want you to know any of the above. They want you to believe that fixing the economy is unfeasible. It’s not. It’s simple. It’s straightforward. It’s obvious. It’s a problem whose solution is as plain as the sky on a perfect summer day.

So why don’t the pundits want you to know any of that? Duh. Because if you did, well, then they might be out of jobs. Here’s what they’re already out of: ideas, time, options, and most importantly, credibility.

So here’s dirty secret number five.

We don’t live the lives we were meant to by merrily shoving Artificially Fried Chicken Flavored Dorito Slurpees down our gullets while watching our societies crumble. We live them when we build things. Great things. Worthy things. Noble things. And the greatest, worthiest, and noblest of all things that mankind has ever built are not apps, drones, corporations, or profits. They are societies in which every life counts. In which every life is truly, fully lived.

So here’s my challenge to you. You know all the dirty secrets now. Live like they weren’t.

Over here this is very telling about libtards in a libtard state… http://www.dailymail.co.uk/new.....oting.html

The 22-year-old expressed fear that officers would search his home and find his multiple firearms and writings outlining his plans, and stop him from exacting revenge n his ‘enemies’ by locking him up.

The officers, however, found the suspect ‘courteous and shy,’ and left.

Nope can’t search his apartment… CA libtard rules even if his mother told us he be crazy!

And now six innocents are dead!

Earlier this month, a wreath was laid at the grave of private William Christman, of the 67th Pennsylvania Infantry, who died of the measles in 1864. He was the first to be buried at the new National Cemetery created on the former estate of Confederate General Robert E. Lee in Arlington, Virginia.

On this Memorial Day, I thank the servicembers who have passed away, or killed in action, and the living veterans, and the servicemen and women who are on duty.

    Lights out for humanity:

“In the past, the gene for the scissors has been transferred to the cells, which is dangerous because the cell keeps on producing scissors which can start cutting uncontrollably. But because we make the scissors in the form of a protein, they only cut for a few hours, after which they are broken down. And we ensure that the virus particle also brings along a small piece of genetic material to patch the hole,” says Jacob Giehm Mikkelsen.

“We call this a ‘hit-and-run’ technique because the process is fast and leaves no traces”.…

Virus particles are converted into nanoparticles which carry the substances that can have a direct effect on the treated cells.

Everything I’ve learned about technological advance comes down to one thing: it’s almost almost always a two edged sword. Something is gained and almost always something is lost. We’ll love the time we get from driverless transportation and those of us who don’t drive for a living will say too bad so many jobs are lost but technology marches on.. blah, blah..

Maybe this is why the rich have become so much richer in recent years. Being more filthy rich than the rich have ever been in history will be the only way anyone will have a prayer to survive the eventual mass weaponization of this technology. And even the super rich may eventually succumb to the coming biological fire that is at least as deadly as nuclear blast and fallout.

    Nice knowing you all.
