Everything I’ve learned about technological advance comes down to one thing: it’s almost almost always a two edged sword. Something is gained and almost always something is lost. We’ll love the time we get from driverless transportation and those of us who don’t drive for a living will say too bad so many jobs are lost but technology marches on.. blah, blah..
Maybe this is why the rich have become so much richer in recent years. Being more filthy rich than the rich have ever been in history will be the only way anyone will have a prayer to survive the eventual mass weaponization of this technology.
