This means whenever Your Favorite AM Hate Radio personality launches their next hour devoted to criticizing “leftist” local and state government we all get to call in and demand that they move to Alabama if they wont stop criticizing America.
Being a racist, and clinging desperately to the expectation that your racism will only be mentioned gently and only in passing, and then feeling butt-hurt when things don’t work out that way, does not make someone a victim of anything other than their own racist delusions.
Sixty years after the start of the civil rights era it is not “impolite” to tell someone that standing outside the yellow school buses and yelling “Nigger go home!” is a racist thing to do. It’s their business if the GOP wants to make that their new campaign slogan. They don’t get to tell the rest of us how to feel about it or what words to use in describing it.
