DLBottlePlease join us tonight as the Seattle Chapter of Drinking Liberally gets together to discuss politics, elections, the media, and whatnot over a cold one.

We meet tonight and every Tuesday at the Roanoke Park Place Tavern, 2409 10th Ave E, Seattle. You’ll find us in the back room starting about 8:00pm.

Chapters of Living Liberally are all over the place…if you can’t make it to the Seattle chapter, stop by another chapter near you.

    The second time this week Sleepy Don clarified homonyms. Which is good because you know he could mean anything see he could ask if we’ve seen the Nile like the river like senile.

  4. Now that Swalwell’s gone, the next necessary step to avoid two Republicans winning the jungle primary is to improve Steyer’s numbers by taking out another Democrat, and the one currently under the gun is Xavier Becerra.

    • An Hispanic woman interviewed him for KTLA and played it straight down the middle, which was enough to out Becerra as the incompetent lightweight that he is.

    • In case that wasn’t enough, an Hispanic woman serving on a CNN panel pretty much called him an incompetent lightweight unable to govern, to which Abby Phillips replied that it’s not the first time she’s heard that.

    Becerra must be a nice enough guy. But Becerra also must be moved off of the stage, leaving Steyer to look likable and sane relative to Katie Porter, who is neither.

    So the Hispanic Double Xs did their thing.

    Chad Bianco imploded his campaign at the debate and in each poll since he loses ground. Bianco is now polling fourth with fifth place Katie Porter nipping at his heels. Fox News ‘Celebrity’ will come in first just like Garvey leading gullible reporters to believe he can win the general which he’ll lose by 29ish.

    With nine candidates still in the running for governor, former Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra remains the leading Democrat, according to three polls released this month. Republican Steve Hilton, the former Fox News host, remains the overall leading candidate.

    The latest poll, published Sunday by research firm Kreate Strategies, put Hilton at the top — a position he has basked in for months now — with 22% of likely voter support. Becerra came in second with 20%, followed by progressive billionaire Democrat Tom Steyer at 14%. Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco, a MAGA Republican, followed at 13%; and Democrats San Jose Mayor Matt Mahan and former U.S. Rep. Katie Porter each registered at 9%.

So now the reflecting pool project awarded by no bid contract given to “My Pool guy who’s done a lot of work for me at Mar a Lago” Has gone from $8m to $14m, Donnie is claiming he knows nothing about the company that he’s never worked for them and reporters are starting to look into it and it appears that the company that got the contract has sub contracted it to someone else.

    And there’s almost no chance of it being done by July 4 unless the Department of the Interior throws even more money at a rush job by a reputable company to get it done.

    And people are starting to notice that patches of it the color doesn’t match.

    They’re really trying to give the Harding administration competition on the theft of public funds.

    Instead of “thinking on their sins” California Republicans will predictably retreat into conspiracy theories about the primary being “stolen”.
