    The 2025 NDAA was passed out of House committee by a 57-1 vote. It includes a provision to add men to the Selective Service database, automatically, when they turn 18.

    The military draft language was added to the bill by a Democrat:

    Rep. Chrissy Houlahan, D-Pa., sponsored the automatic registration language and called it both a money-saving and common-sense reform.

    “By using available federal databases, the [Selective Service] agency will be able to register all of the individuals required and thus help ensure that any future military draft is fair and equitable,” she said during debate on the idea Wednesday night.

    Tell me again about all of those House Armed Services Committee Democrats being reclassified as “neocons”.

    The quote was from a reporter asking the VP a question, not from the VP.

    The NC storms hit in September of 2024, which means that Joe Biden’s administration had nearly four months to deliver aid to that area, yet did not, in no small part because his people were ordered by their higher-ups not to provide aid to Trump-supporting residents, remember that?
