I no longer use Twitter or Facebook because Nazis. But until BlueSky is bought and enshittified, you can still follow me at @goldyha.bsky.social
Once again, I too will miss out on Seattle DL. No matter how scintillating the conversation might be, it couldn’t hold a candle to Dylan at the Paramount.
Goldy–
It’s not my time yet..
Once this Election Contest is over, I’ll be there
Wherever you have it, I know when I walk in the door I will be able to spot you and the other Left WingNuts immediately….
you will all be lurking in the darkest, dingiest corner with you hands in your pants (or more likely in each others pants!) and pulling each others fingers in a farting contest.
And if it’s too dark, I can find you pinheads by following my nose toward the unmistakable scent of bullshit.
I’m sure you will be happy to see me.
JCH—I’m gonna beat you again this month as the King of the Banned Trolls!!!
Isn’t anyone willing to even try to take away my crown???
Actually I’m in Seattle tonight for a meeting tomorrow AM. I know exactly where the Mountlake Ale House is. I think I’ll stop in with my buddies for a bite to eat and a drink just to get a glimpse of how pathetic you are (my friends from the Right obviously excluded!!).
Do they serve free-range tofu at this place Goldy?
I’ll come if it is about your upcoming announcement of your candidacy for mayor.
OK…..If a bunch of Democrats order drinks, who is going the pay the check? [Perhaps someone at the next table will need to “redistribute” his or her wealth!] [Or, will they use a “guvment” credit card?]
Mr.Cynical@2. Free range tofu, now that is a funny funny line. I am moving you up from 2nd to the bottom on my list. Keep this up and you will lose my vote for you on the poll.
Goldy – i keep voting for you in your lameass poll to no effect. I logged on to every King County Library computer I could get my hands on, voted twice or three times with each one and still no effect. Your poll is starting to look suspiciously like elections in King County.
Anyone interested in tumbleweeds and REAL beer needs to take a drive East to Rattlesnake brewery. Or Ice Harbor brewery for that matter. This state is blessed with an abundance of great ale houses.
WARNING – THIS POST CONTAINS CONSERVATIVE TRUTH. READ CAREFULLY
BTW – Has anyone seen JCH lately? He is so cool Just like the Shark. Just like Dino Rossi. Cool people you can sit down and have a beer with. Not someone with a puckered face and shrill voice. Can you imagine being married to someone like that?
Pulling some of those liberal voodoo mind-control ballot-box stuffing tricks on you? Not something you want to think about when you are drinking brewskis with cool people.
Maybe Goldy is really being held hostage by those liberal voodoo mind-control tricks? He’s really cool inside, but the moveon.org subliminal tapes keep holding him back. Who votes to go on the “Rescue Goldy Mission?” Any takers???? Help bring him to his senses? Bring him to the right side? Just curious. It could work.
Zapporo @6,
While I reserve the right to futz with the lame-ass poll results at my discretion, I haven’t futzed with this one.
And I agree with you that this state is blessed with an abundance of fine ale houses and brew pubs. My favorite brews are the cask conditioned ales at Grants in Yakima. I like my hops.
Zapporo @7,
I’m really not all that cool.
7…Zapporo…..And Goldy blocks MY posts. Classic liberal Democrat hypocite! [BTW, who did you “victim” Democrats get to pick up the check? Since Democrats are all victims, it would follow that you shouldn’t be responsible for your bill! Someone else should pay, because you are VICTIMS!! Maybe those evil business types over in the next table!! Yeah!! They should pay, because Democrats love the spend “other people’s money”!! [kind of like John “Fonda” Kerry’s wife paying taxes at 12% MTR, but EVERYONE ELSE should pay more!! Or Al Gore’s charitable deductions of $400 bucks on income of $500,000, but somebody else [evil Republicans] must pay more!! I can see Zapporo, DON, and Goldy running up a huge bar bill, then bitching over who pays. Finally, they stick someone else with the tab, then, like HILLARY, forget to leave a tip. Typical libs!! [POST this as a response to #7, Goldy, as Zapporo opened the door.]
JCH… stay on topic and don’t clutter up the threads with pointless insults (I don’t mind the pointed kind) and I’ll stop holding your posts for approval.
JCH @9 – You are not helping my case for being banned. Dammit. How the hell am I ever going to get into one of those lame ass polls with you and Mr. Cynical? Or Chardonnay? (http://www.dinorossi.com/news/.....5/nsof.php) Drink More Beer. But not with a damn guvment credit card.
Maybe at your next meeting you can discuss he Governor’s menu. Did you all here about crissy’s new personal chef on the payrol at the Gov’s mansion?
PUBLIC NOTICE
I showed up at the Montlake Ale House tonight and didn’t see a single one of those gutless wingnut loudmouths there! They’re all talk, no action. All hat, no cattle. Every damn one of ’em!
Couldn’t make it last night.
American Idol was on for God’s sake!
My choice was going out and watching untalented people make fools of themselves….or stay at home and watch untalented people make fools of themselves on TV.
13.DON…….Had to pay your own way Last night? Well, that’s not fair! Did the bartender know that you are “guvment” entitled” DON? Like Hillary, did you “forget” to tip? BTW, Chardonny, M. Cynical and I were at the Four Seasons, having a tax deductable “business dinner”. DON, was that you under the table?
Couldn’t make it last night.
Read: My parents wouldn’t let me go out until I finished cleaning my room.
I undrstand DON tried to pay the bill with an uncashed ten dollar check!
The morning after DON and friends enjoyed a night of hard drinking at the MONTLAKE ALE HOUSE, this article appeared in the local paper: “Somebody was making nighttime visits to farmer Terry Patterson’s sheep barn in the 600 block of Big Mount Road in Paradise Township, police said. Patterson told police he saw the evidence of several sexual assaults on his sheep, but never the intruder. So he installed an alarm and intercom system.”
I see JCH and his pals were living it up last night at the expense of middle class taxpayers who are stuck with paying alla of society’s freight so the overclass can sip Chivas and whine to each other about how overtaxed they are. That explains why they didn’t show at the low-rent tavern.
How would you know that JCH?
From what I understand you attempted to get in, but they held you at the door while verifying your ID. You then proceeded to pitch a fit, calling the owner and host “HAMBURGER burning NAZI censors!!!” Then the host was forced to make you to leave so everyone elses’ evening wasn’t ruined by your screaming and yelling.
JCH @ 15
It doesn’t surprise me a bit that you and your wingy pals were out on the town last night courtesy of tax breaks for the rich. The middle class gets stuck with society’s freight while you vermin sip Chivas and whine about how overtaxed the overclass is. No wonder you didn’t show up at the low-rent tavern. Whatever I tipped the bartender, it was more than you no-shows tipped the bartender, wasn’t it? It was just as I suspected — the wingnuts have no guts, and no glory.
You know, commie libs, I sent a check [email Mastercard] to SP [Sharkman]. AT THE VERY LEAST, DON, JCRICKET, et al, you should support your liberal friend Goldy in the same manner. [No, DON, I’m not going to cover you, and yes, I understand you are a “victim”!] So, dear Democrat hack liberals, pay up, as Goldy does not yet have a “guvment” job!!
JCH @ 17–
That’s clever–
Don probably tried to “forge” some other pinheads name on it to boot.
Actually, Don doesn’t need $$ when he goes out cuz he is an expert at “Drink & Waddle”.
The drinking sounds like fun. Sorry I didn’t make it. Two houses to repair this month equals no time to goof off and drink. Maybe next time.
To answer the questions by JCH and Chardonnay, when Democrats drink, generally the total bill is counted up and split equally by the folks who are at the table. If one person had a pint more or another a pint less, or so on, it’s not too big a deal.
If Libertarians drink, a very precise count is made of how much everyone spent on their individual pints, and exact change is put in for the beer. Tip money is put into a seperate pile with every person contributing as they see fit. For nobody should drink for the sake of another.
All the Republicans I know drink at home. You get more booze for the buck that way.
A few months ago I went out drinking with a group of accountants. A bewildering quantity of math went into calculating a number which was pretty close to my half-assed guess as to how much I owed. I tried to claim depreciation on 2/3 of the beer I’d had, claiming it had already been returned, but they were having none of it.
jsa–
CLEVER!
But remember, guv’mint attorneys like Don don’t worry about bill splitting.
They just “drink & waddle”!
Cynical @ 25:
Well, that may or may not be true. I’ve never been drinking with Don, so I can’t say. I suspect you haven’t either, but maybe you or Don could clear this up.
You know, though. It’s time to add a little whimsy to this thread.
I finished 6th grade, my last year of grade school in 1980.
Since then, I have not done any of the following:
a) Put on a pair of Toughskins jeans.
b) Picked up an elementary school reading primer, just to remember how little the words were back then.
c) Watched Saturday morning cartoons (technically untrue. My 5 year-old is a big Saturday morning cartoon fan, so I’ve taken a peek once or twice. It’s all about spending time with her though).
With this in mind, I am not sure where the affection for grade-school putdowns comes from. Maybe some people on this thread had better memories of elementary school than I did.
One of those BIAW checks was misdelivered to my address yesterday so I had my dog sign for Mr. Cynical and sent it to Sound Politics.
Whoaaa!!! I got another BIAW check today! This one is for JCH … here poochy poochy … now where did doggie go??
jsa @ 26
I don’t recall ever having the pleasure of drinking with Mr. Cynical but I may have met him in the drunk tank when I was looking for one of my clients.
Don’t worry, Cynimey and Jiminey, you’re secrets are safe with me. BIAW will never figure out who those signatures belong to! Woof!
Don–Drunk tank
Were you really the attorney for Otis on the Andy Griffith Show?
And you also claim your dog signs checks for me?
I’m afeared Don that you are not only a drunk tank attorney but you are a member!
JCH@17. Now that is a good one. Got a laugh here.
JHC@18. Baaaaaa–d Baaaaaaaa-d.
Chee @ 33
Did they dust the place for hoofprints?
What do you use JCH, fresh liver? Just wondering.
Six House reps fail to file income tax returns

It’s all spend but no tax these days for six state lawmakers who revenue officials say failed to file income tax returns while voting to spend billions of dollars paid by others. The delinquent pols, all Democratic members of the House….
Don @All – I put together a few websites for your edification. I hope they help:
Something Don should do at
dinnertime instead.
A new place for Don to
Hang Out
This link may be even more useful
Good luck Don. We’re all rooting for you. Take Care!
Good thinking there, zap. A lot of common sense in your suggestions. Common sense, of course, is what convinced you the world is flat.
