    You may remember that Ohio is the state where the Republican governor implemented ObamaCare by expanding Medicaid unilaterally despite the Republican legislature’s stripping the ObamaCare Medicaid expansion from the budget.

    Glad they rewarded the pro-ObamaCare state. The Republican convention is a fine time and place to trumpet the value of what nearly every Republican describes as horrible.

    Wow, the article by shallowcogitations that was referenced here by the link, “The only thing more drilling will guarantee is more profits for oil companies. And more environmental trashing”, is amazingly simple to understand, and leads to the obvious conclusion that all oil corporations, even those who might call themselves “U.S.” or “American” companies, will make a profit on the backs of U.S. residents without batting an eye.

    That, as the referenced post states, makes McMorris Rodgers look foolish. I’m not intending to name-call here, but I’d say that an apt description of McMorris Rodgers as it relates to the reference and recent public statements about lowering the price of fuel to get people work qualifies her quite well for the title of useful idiot (for the oil corporations).

    But then again, that’s just what Republicans do.

    @6 What the average American gets from more drilling is gas to keep his car running. I didn’t say cheap gas. You can have more drilling, more domestic oil, and gas to keep your car running if you’re willing to pay $4/gal. for gas. If you’re only willing to pay $2/gal., you’d better plan on walking or riding a horse.
