When has Reichert ever run on anything other than his gravitas as former sheriff and his silvery hairdo? His performance in debates has never been stellar. If he did accept the debate challenge, how would you detect any effects of the brain injury?

The only thing the passages really prove, of course, is that Politico badly needs a better editor.
