Who could have predicted?

An experiment in bipartisanship that began with so much promise a year ago totally crumbled in the final hours of this year’s legislative session.

I don’t know a single Olympia press corps veteran who believed that Rodney Tom’s faux-bipartisan senate Majority Coalition Caucus held any promise of delivering results, while I don’t know a single daily newspaper editorial board that didn’t.

These people really need to get out more.

    It’s inconceivable for a poll losing DUMMOCRETIN senator to wake up during an election year and finally mention things said by Republicans for years to try and save her political hide? Yet it’s conceivable that this same senator voted in jack boot lock step with Obummer in previous years!

    The daily newspaper ed boards seem to grow more out of touch with the communities they serve by the month and more similar in their views as well, but they couldn’t possibly be getting together at some private club or golf course could they?

    But don’t let the beat reporters totally off the hook Goldy as I never saw an article about details of the budget proposals and I think it was only online that anyone called out the highly celebrated (by those ed boards) $1 billion in new education funding from 2013 was 50 percent one-time, non-recurring revenue that means because of Rodney Tom the legislature is further behind its education funding obligations than assumed.

    So, basically, the person is upset with unions because they look after their members? He’s upset that he has to pay for services rendered? Does the same person object to CEO golden parachutes because they cut into corporate profits?

    If he’s objecting to signmanship, should we pull up the wonderful teaparty signs? Who says she’s a teacher by the way? She could be someone from the republicans who made the sign just to be in the photo? Just sayn’
