Is it just me, or is Google Ads pretty much feeding HA exclusively Dino Rossi ads these past few days? In fact, I’m getting almost exclusively Rossi ads no matter where I go. I feel like I’m being stalked.

I’m assuming that you are using Google Adsense to populate at least some of your advertiesements.
For advertisors (using Google AdWords), this means that they can let Google pick up on keywords and use it to populate the ad, based on the number of times a key word appears. I would suspect that just the number of times this site and it’s commentators refer to Dino Rossi, Republicans, Democrats, Patty Murray, etc., would cause it to bring in whatever ad was bidding the most to appear on related sites.
But you could also be right – Google AdWords gives the advertisor the option of targeting specific websites, as well.
I say, let them advertise. We should all click on them, at least once a day (more frequent clicks will be ignored by the Google system). That way Rossi’s ads get lots of traffic and they owe a few cents to Google for each click.
I don’t know about Rossi but that Matt Richardson hitjob website that comes through blogads is a real hoot!

Has the FBI or Secret Service arrested the woman in Spokane that said Senator Patty Murray and Senator Maria Cantwell should be shot at the Dino Rossi meeting held in Spokane the other day. I can’t believe that statement should not result in some level of interrogation and possibly an arrest for threatening elected officials lives.
I have a union website to keep the local members connected. the google ads are all about union busting.
I’ve been seeing Sarah Palin the last few weeks all over Left Blogostan in Google Reader. If they want to support our side with ad revenue, thanks, wingnuts!

She wasn’t running for Congress in New Hampshire so it was considered reasonable.

Probably not, because after Rossi pointed out to her that there was a reporter in the room, and she probably “didn’t really mean that”, she agreed and “adjusted” her comments.
I might just pass it off as hyperbole, except that there really are some wingnuts out there who might be sufficiently encouraged to actually make an attempt.
But what struck me was that Rossi made a special point to point out that a reporter was in the room. Why do that? Why didn’t he censure her, telling her that such talk was inappropriate?
It makes me wonder what type of conversation he would have allowed to continue if there had NOT been a reporter in the room.
I haven’t been seeing/noticing excessive Rossi ads. Do you still see the ads with cookies disabled?
I saw them on my personal blog. I have not mentioned either of those people lately.
It made me laugh, I do not think the tens of my friends would vote for that fuckhead.
