    Fat Midget has maintained his support among educated Republican base voters. But it appears to have collapsed in every other demographic.
    So which voters turnout in which primary contests will make all the difference.

    I don’t know anything at all about the Fat Midget operation or whether they have the resources to implement a robust, targeted GOTV effort in the early primaries. But one glance at these graphics tells me he sure as fuck better have. Because Trump most certainly does. And Trump also has impressive control and influence over local media, alt media, Congress, party leadership, locally elected Republicans and the Bible Mob.

    I’m trying to comprehend this. As I piece things together, the GOP’s dumbest voters gravitate to Trump because, well, that’s the dumbest thing any voter can do. And FM gets the leftovers, who are basically people who know better, but support him anyway because they’re fucking fascists, and have enough intelligence and education to make an informed choice to be fucking fascists, whereas Always Trumpers just stumble into it. Am I onto something here?

    I know many of my liberal friends oppose the death penalty in all cases, but I feel some people have it coming. However, I’m certainly against nearly every aspect of how it’s applied and carried out by most states, so I propose Doctor Dumbfuck “justice” for this guy. But only after he gets a fair trial, of course.

    Weiss is the only one who can possibly say if he would have handled the case differently if he had been preparing to file in a venue other than Delaware.
    Weis is the guy who negotiated the pre-indictment agreement to plead.

    The basis of the charges – the checkbox on the form and partying blindly through tax filing season – are neither significant federal charges nor commonly made cases. There’s about 50 million American gun owners guilty of the form violation who are never getting investigated, much less charged. And the odds of being prosecuted for failing to file are worse than getting hit by lightning.

    How would seeking to file in any other federal jurisdiction change any of that? It’s still the same prosecutor looking at the same conduct.

A GOP primary loser doesn’t know if there was any vote cheating, but she won’t concede, and “may run a write-in campaign for the seat, a threat that, if she follows through, could potentially jeopardize the GOP’s ability to hold a must-have district” in Virginia’s state senate.” I sure hope so.

    It’s too rare, frankly. And both of those assholes will presumably spend more getting the orders reduced than they will save in the reductions. But the celebrity lawyer dome of immunity must go, for everyone’s sake. It’s got to be one system for lawyers in order for it to be one system for their clients, including when the clients are “the people”.

    I suppose I should suspect that Prigozhin is carrying out a theatrical performance (with artillery) at Putin’s behest.

    But if that is so it would probably signal a prelude to either Russian withdrawal or a desperate escalation. Let’s hope it’s withdrawal. Unless of course you are a Republican, which should really go without saying at this point.

    I just mailed off my quarterly taxes. About $100 of that theft was for a US Coast Guard that is spending about $20 million to locate and identify stupid billionaire meat paste smeared across a tiny portion of the Atlantic Ocean floor that I will never see and don’t give one single shit about. I’ll pay that $100 every three months forever and never see a penny.

    I’ve only dipped my toes in the Atlantic Ocean one time, and that was in Virginia Beach, I was blind drunk, and I retain absolutely no memory of it. But I still don’t know where my boxers went or why there was sand in my crack. I deeply resent having to pay for this Girl Navy system that I didn’t want and didn’t vote for.. if you want a Girl Navy system, then pay for it yourselves, wealthy, billionaire, motor yacht, Thurston Howell, conservative assholes!

    @15 The Coast Guard budget ($13.45 billion) is ~0.5736% of total income tax collections ($2.345 trillion), so either you’re paying nearly $70,000 a year of income taxes (70000 x 0.005736 = 401), or you’re full of shit. Another possible explanation is that you’re averaging $400 a year in fines for boating violations.
