    I don’t know exactly why, but I am transfixed by the photo of Obama with the Brownies. Maybe it’s because everyone is SO HAPPY, and for six people to be that happy all at once is a joy to behold.

    Suspended? A black child was shot dead within two seconds of the police arriving for having a toy gun. A unarmed black man died in a choke hold for selling cigarettes. An unarmed black teen got shot dead for walking down the street. A black man got shot dead for trying to buy a BB gun at Walmart.

    Although Amtrak and BNSF claim it is due to track upgrades, but another sign of falling oil prices, Amtrak will be returning the Empire Builder to it’s normal schedule. Although it will probably also see a drop in ridership in western North Dakota, as a bump in ridership there in recent years, was due to the oil boom.

    A new CNN poll shows Jeb Bush solidly ahead in the GOP field, with Christie a distant second. Not long ago, libertarian darling Rand Paul was the frontrunner, but he has only 6% of the Republican vote now. The same poll shows Hillary beating Jeb by double digits.
