Last week’s winners were YLB, who first guessed that it was Oslo, Norway and Don Joe, who found the link.
And to clear up a question that arose last week in the comments, the reason that I don’t select locations in places like Africa is because there are no views there yet. And as wes.in.wa points out, if they ever do get views for cities like Kampala, this contest gets a lot more interesting.
Here’s this week’s view, good luck!
Roger Rabbit spews:
OK, I’m gonna stick my neck way out, which is not very far because rabbits have short necks, and say it’s not in Seattle. This is probably a reckless gamble, but I’m banking on the idea that lots of other places in America have named streets after Martin Luther King Jr., too.
Deciduous trees, boxy row houses, awning over porch, flat and low-pitch roofs — it’s gotta be east of the Mississippi River, and not too far north, somewhere out of the snow zone. Say, Kentucky or Tennessee.

Washington DC
YLB spews:
2 – yep 4 columns on the one porch was interesting.
mlc1us spews:
@3 Here is a close up of the house with 4 columns on the porch.
Change in Time spews:
I don’t know how often these images are updated, but the cars parked are different in Lee’s view, mlc1us’s view, and the view I just got of the same location. Nah, nobody’s watching us…
Roger Rabbit spews:
@5 They’re watching us a bit less after last week’s collision between Russkie and U.S. satellites. Someone ran a red light 500 miles upstairs!
HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR
Roger Rabbit spews:
Oh, and tell me it was an accident, that 2 satellites the size of basketballs orbiting hundreds of miles apart just happen to hit each other — that their joystick guys and our joystick guys don’t fool around playing bumper cars in outer space … sure, sure …
Poooff!! goes several hundred million dollars of taxpayer money … all in a day’s work … I’ll bet they got a kick out of that on both sides …

5. Change in Time
eeeks. You are right! I just got yet a different shot. And different times of day, too, judging by the shadows. That is really creepy. Who is taking these photos?
Lee spews:
@8
Yeah, I’ve seen a bunch of areas with overlapping footage. If you move it around, you’ll see slightly different angles.
@2
Well done! And welcome back!
wes.in.wa spews:
The Iridium satellite was private, though, wasn’t it?
The Guy With No Car spews:
Darn it, by the time I see these the contest is pretty much always over.
Roger Rabbit spews:
Disbar ‘Em All!
An internal Department of Justice ethics investigation could lead to disciplinary action by state bar associations against the lawyers who drafted the legal memos that provided cover for the Bush administration’s torture policies.

Enough, already with the birds-eye view posts.
Troll spews:
HAHAHA! I got a response from my troll comment accusing a GAME of being racist!?!
HAHAHAHAHA!
correctnotright spews:
@14: Lee – I think you just exploded the miniature brain sitting atop the troll head.
Careful….pink goo will be scattered everywhere.
