– There are a lot of confounds, of course, but I would rather have Washington State’s economy than Idaho’s COVID-19 rates if there is a tradeoff.

– When the evictions start happening after the moratorium ends, it will be good that Seattle tenants will have attorneys.

New budget proposals just dropped. The state House and Senate 2 year budget proposals have been announced. It seems like good stuff. Of course it’s such a weird year, focusing on COVID-19 recovery and bringing back the economy are top priorities.

The Washington State eviction moratorium has been extended again. This time through the end of June.

Given the rate of vaccination, I would guess that it will be the last extension. I hope that the state and Federal relief packages will mean it’s a relatively soft landing when the moratorium expires.
