  14. NBC News is reporting that our POS 46th president is being irradiated for his metastatic prostate cancer.

    None of the three pieces Tara and I read were specific but it’s likely that it is regions of his skeleton, and not his prostate, that are being irradiated.

    Bone metastases are common with breast, prostate, lung carcinoma and others. The radiation isn’t so much to kill cancer as it is to relieve pain.

    While a cancer patient suffering from bone pain is not a pleasant thing to comprehent, it is difficult not to believe that such an awful man is experiencing his just deserts.

    An aside: Had he experienced pain while in office he would have been more lucid. Biden’s obvious cognitive decline, detectable even before he became president, made it easier to hide the cancer that no doubt doctors knew about before he was elected.

    But having allowed this, the Framers also provided a remedy for it: Impeachment. And later, the Congress and state legislatures amended the Constitution to provide a second remedy for it: The 25th Amendment.

While taking a break from Big Sky/FCS while my Eags are on a bye week, was watching SWX’s coverage of Caroll vs University of Montana-Western, and they mentioned for the road team (Caroll), it was one of their only conference opponents under 150 miles. Lucky them, EWU8s nearest 3 nearest opponents are Idaho, Montana, and Hillsboro State(Portland State, but the campus may be on the edge of Downtown Portland, they play most games in Hillsboro because the Timbers have Providence Park now). Moscow is 85 miles from Cheney, Missoula is about 180 miles, and Portland is 339 miles.
