Besides, politicians, businesses, and corporations sponsor “press junkets” all the time, giving the press free seating (albeit usually in the back of the plane) so they will be sure to cover whatever the sponsor wants them to cover. Does anybody complain when Boeing gives journalists and photographers flights on new Boeing jets, so they can make sure the features of the airplane are widely broadcast? Do they complain when either the President, a Cabinet Secretary, or even the Speaker of the House takes reporters on a “show and tell” mission somewhere?
The proposed AWV Museum in Pioneer Square is mainly for security during construction. Damage control operations will be conducted there. After the tunnel is finished, which is ABSOLUTELY still in question, the musuem is expected to serve as the place where Wsdot rewrites history.
However, this stupid museum will close its doors once the shit hits the fan as at least two dozen historic and contemporary building foundations are undermined and demolition proceedings commence with attendent political fiasco. And, as traffic worsens on Mercer, Denny, Elliott, Western, Alaskan Way, 1st thru 4th Aves, Warshdot will stealthily evacuate leaving hardly a trace.
Or…. Seattle’s idiots-in-charge could admit this is a criminal act being committed and stop the bored tunnel – it’s not too late – and then charge Ms Hammand, Ms Crunican & Douglas MacDonald and complicit conspirators with willful, malevolent dereliction of duty, beyond incompetence that ABSOLUTELY WILL result in dreadful harm to the public as traffic accidents throughout downtown Seattle worsen dramatically, including fatalities. There is BLOOD on Warshdot’s greasy f-n hands.
Ms Crunican intends to damage the BART system the same way she left a damaged mess behind in Oregon and Washington. The woman belongs behind bars…..frickin bitch….
